on the back of a fag packet i work out that if we win every game for around 27 seasons and liverpool loose every game in the same period we will be above them.

amazed Bolton are up there, I had the impression when they came up they hadn't been in the top division much before.

Bolton were one of the 12 original members of the Football League and they've spent 72 out of the last 112 seasons in the Top Flight of English Football.

By contrast, Leicester City (and Leicester Fosse) have spent 47 out of their 106 Football League seasons in the Top Flight.

BTW, Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City are the only two surviving orignial members who have yet to win a Top Flight Championship.

Win percentage of 31.74%. Thats not too bad really, a win in every 3 games in the top flight. But yeah, our goal difference is shocking!

Pleeeeeeeeeeease dont let any Liverpool supporters see that table. they bang on far too much about the past anyway! :P
