Yup, I see that point of view too, I got the feeling it was about reputation.... maybe association with the player and then failing to do the business........ it's all speculative, sure - I just thought the wording was a little mysterious and overly descriptive! I heard about Pearson leaving,.. the brown racist saga, Waghorn resigning and sven joining off him too all before they happened but we can't sign from outside England so what's happening??

Unless it was pre-arranged before, we can't sign nayone now. So it can't be him

Callabinho Posted 17 March 2011 Posted 17 March 2011 Well if it helps what I've heard is we made an approach in the transfer market half heartedly, and they accepted the offer but we had to paye the mojority of his wages! I did hear this the other day so who knows, mate bumped into waggy and kingy in nando's and I got him to ask and app they just laughed and said don' know mate but anything could happen with Sven in charge!

m00nie Posted 17 March 2011 Posted 17 March 2011 now it is getting stupid imo.. its one thing loaning him for a couple of months but to now buy out his contract etc it too much.. seems like his name came out, then with places like here, facebook, asking stringer, etc word has got around, then it came about it couldnt happen due to the european window closed, but by now the rumour is going round that many people, people are starting to still think its true...

Criggers Posted 17 March 2011 Posted 17 March 2011 Right I dont want to get slagged off for this but seriously, even if Miroslav Klose was a possibility he is just one man. In a team off 11 players is one man going to make that much difference in the 9 games remaining? Granted, a prolific world cup goalscoring man and he made a difference in that German team, but we dont have Ballack and Lahm to back him up do we. Looking at the remaining fixtures we should be able to win most of them if we play our best without spending all this money (whoever it is for and however much it actually is). So many questions that just don't seem to have answers. At least if we were to get someone like that and still not go up then maybe next year other players will think "well if LCFC are good enough for xxxx then why not give it a whirl".
