Inexperience or stupidity? Why dive in to try and crunch someone when the ball is going seemingly out of play? Bamba 4. Too busy blaming everyone else rather than focusing on his own performance. Oakley 3. Partly to blame for the first goal bloat the ball, couldn't be bothered to track back which went for a corner. Wellens 4. Scored yes, everything else was pants. Clearly injured too. King 3. Pathetic performance. Abe 5. Headless chicken but better than the other 3 in midfield. Vassell 5. Wasteful. Often turns attack into well, nothing. Yak 3. Disgraceful. Waggy 4. Did nothing. Dyer 4. See Waggy. Gallagher 5. Nice free kick. Norwich - best team we've played. Sven - sort it out. Something needs to be done and quick.

Defensively good. Bamba - 6 - Solid Mee - 5 - See Sol. -1 for giving away penalty. Berner - 5 - Tried hard but poor by his standards. Abe - 7 - MOTM - Good game, won a lot especially 1st half. King - 4 - Where. Was. He. ? Wellens - 5 - Off day. Oakley - 5 - His usual poor self. Yak - 2 - Useless. Lazy, slow, waste of space. Vassell - 5 - Ran a lot but little end product. Gally - 6 - Looked good. WE NEED HIM ON FOR SET PIECES SVEN! Waggy - 4 - Innefectual Dyer - 3 - Even more innefectual Officials - 7 - Apart from one linesman who missed like 5 offsides. Norwich - 9 - Brilliant, especially second half. Sven - 5 - He isn't to blame for underperforming players. Iffy subs/set up though.

Wellens 6 - Decent game IMO. Nothing spectacular, mind King 3 - Awful game... Hope this is just a one off Abe 6 - Great runs to close down and to get to the ball, but did nothing with it. Vassell 4 - Was he even playing most of the time? Yak 3 - See King Waggy 4 - Had nothing to do. Dyer 4 - Not even worth bringing on Gallagher 5 - Decent free kick, good passing play, but not on long enough. Too little too late. Sort it out Sven.

Early on there was twice he was beaten in the air whilst going for a punch and was claimly a free kick for a non-existent foul. Everytime a cross comes in you are just waiting for him to miss it.

Ricardo 4 - Not as bad as Pressman but not far off Naughton 6 - Poor game in all fairness, defending not up to scratch Mee 5 - Conceded yet another penalty Bamba 5 - Poor defending few scary moments, just clumsy when they attacked us Berner 6 - Decent crosses but bit slow tonight Oakley 5 - Good start then was woeful King 4 - Poor wasn't in the game Abe 7 - Our best player by a mile didn't put a foot wrong Wellens 6 - Ok but not the best Vassell 6 - Ran for the ball tried to make things happen team mates let him down Yakubu 3 - Feed the Yak and he will score, don't make me laugh big as a yeti slow as a snail Waghorn 4 - Woeful did bugger all when he came on Dyer 4 - Didn't do anything when he came on Gallagher 6 - Best of the subs and class free kick

Naughton. 6- from our 18 yard box to theirs he looked great but in either 18 yard box looked a bit lost. Bamba.-4- This is the first time i have seen Bambi play live. his positioning was AWFUL was at fault for one of the goals Mee.4- Poor, didn't win his headers, didn't win many tackles, played his part in all three of norwich's goals. Berner.6.5- played well 1st half but faded second. Abe.5- usual Abe performance. get the ball pass 5 yards very defensive and scared to shoot tonight King. 5- second half he was nowhere to be seen, missed several chances 1st half Wellens. 5- INJURED Oakley. 6- played well first half made some great off the ball runs but wasn't found. Naughton 6 tried hard but since the shuffling of the formation he dont seem to be able to get down the wings as much Bamba 5 not the sol of late.. Mee 4 had poor game tonight Berner 4 was givien his chance back in the team but poor Abe 6 usually running round but get pushed off it too easy at times.. also SHOOOOOT once in a while Wellens 6 extra point for scoring.. still wasnt great.. King 4 quiet.. maybe pissed of oakley took his captains band.. very understandable Oakley 2 who? Yakubu 3 lazy.. his 1 in 2 everyone was pointing out is slowly getting worse.. Vassell 4 ran around alot and tried but still to no effect.. sven.. 3 tonight.. nothing wrong with playin ricardo i agree with him there, but oakley?? and why change the formation AGAIN... wasnt even the 4132.. and gally not a man for in the middle.. we have no plan b if things not working either.. no decent options up front other than a like foe like with vassel/waghorn..
wakeyfox01 Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Ricardo - 6 - no chance with the goals made some smart saves and was great distribution apart from a couple of wayward long balls, which Weale is more than guilty of, I honestly can't see how you can have a go at him after today. Naughton - 7 - The only real bright spark, but had no support from the midfield. Bamba - 4 - couldn't handle Holt backing into him, made a couple of good tackles and interceptions but kept letting Holt get in space between him and Naughton Mee - 4 - beaten constantly in the air and never looked comfortable or dominant today, deflected their third goal when it was going straight to Ricardo Berner - 4 - kept trying to get forward but at the end didn't have the energy to get back, wasteful with possession, and shows why he hasn't been getting in the team as he was beaten time and again. Couple of decent crosses though Oakley - 4 - lets himself down with some poor touches and passes when he does some good things as well, not got the legs to close them down enough Abe - 7 - put himself about and barely gave the ball away unlike his team mates King - 4 - needs to put a tackle in, especially when we're playing 4-4-2, wasted a couple of decent chances Wellens - 5 - good goal and random celebration, spread it well at times but ran himself ragged and not his dominant self Vassell - 5 - held it up well at times and very rarely gets tackled, would like to see him playing on the defenders shoulder more Yakubu - 4 - started off ok but they started crowding him out, could maybe have done better with a header but couldn't get over it subs: Waghorn - 3 - offered nothing Gally - 5 - good free kick albeit too late, tried to force it too much as there was no width Dyer - 4 - did nothing and never seems to run at people anymore

Naughton - 7 - The only player in the defence who something positive can be said about. At least he looked interested. Bamba - 5 - All over the shot. Mee - 5.5 - Not great. Berner - 5 - Not fit. Misplaced passes. Oakley - 2 - Was woeful at this time last season and is even more so now. Get rid. Wellens - 6 - Put himself about but lacked any creativity. King - 5 - Carry on playing like that. That's fine. At least Premiership teams will look elsewhere. Turn it on again next season. Abe - 7 - Decent game. Yakubu - 1 - Awful. One shot on target in the 1st half which he should have scored. That's all he did. Vassell - 6 - Put himself about but his partner was as disinterested as a cat on a hot summer's day. Forget it. Subs: Ineffective as the system remained the same and predictability took over. We may as well look to next season now. The house built on sand is falling down.

You were obviously not watching the game you were watching the ball. anybody that paid attention would of seen in the first half The passage of play....Oakley....to Yakubu / Vassel...to Berner and Berner crossed on many occasions because of that, were you the Anus sitting in front of me?

He made one flap as a previous poster said but that was it, for those booing him after the third goal wait until you see it again. Berner - 5 - Simply hasn't got the engine to get forward and wasn't helped by having Oakley in front of him. Mee - 6 - fairly decent Bamba - 5 - poor I thought, how the goal kick travelled so far I don't know some poor tackles also. Naughton - 6 - ditto to Mee Abe - 4 - Couldn't handle Hoolahan at all Oakley - 3 - Just utter manure Wellens - 5 - average King - 5 - average Yakubu - 4 - offered very little Vassell - 4 - ditto

Shocking defending for the 3rd goal. Mee - 5 - Fully commited, but rash, again. Abe - 6 - Only midfielder who had a clue what he was doing. Decent shift. Wellens - 6 - Abit lost, couldn't get in the game. +1 for scoring. Oakley - 5 - Does absolutely nothing, ever. King - 5 - Missed a few good chances in the first half, involved more after Gallagher was introduced. Vassell - 5 - No service whatsoever, did nothing of note, as usual. Yakubu - 2 - Lazy, disinterested, absolute gash. Waghorn - 5 - Couldn't get himself involved. Gallagher - 7 - We actually passed the ball once he came on, always available. Dyer - 4 - Needed him to give us a bit of width, he didn't. Midfield as a unit - 2 - Clueless. Too narrow, too easily exploited. Fans - 1 - Support the bloody team. Sven - 2 - Pants team selection, should've changed it at half time if not before. Norwich - 8 - Looked like the home team, passed the ball around well, had us chasing shadows. Can't remember us being dominated that badly at home for a while but our setup contributed massively. Overall - Diabolical.
