Fair enough but if there are people like you who want atmosphere but can't be bothered to work towards building it, how is it gonna come about?

There is an atmosphere in K. And I contribute towards that.

It's not my job to spread the atmosphere around the ground, there's 25,000 others who need to pull their finger out.

Like I said, I'd prefer not to be surrounded by retards who boo our team, but I also want an atmposphere and I want it now, not later. One can't have everything so I'll stay put.

you've completely missed my point.

You said you "can't be bothered to perservere and wait for an atmosphere to be built over time", if you can't be bothered to build that atmosphere up and i'd wager there are plenty of others who feel the same way, how is an atmosphere going to be created?

It's all well and good saying you'll be involved once an atmosphere gets going but you have to get the atmosphere going in the first place.

I dont know why you need to be so close to away fans anyway.

Sure i can understand the banter an all, but theres hundereds of grounds out there with 'real ' kops situated at the other end of the ground.

Someone (anyone) please get this sorted, because being out sung at home is a joke.

What do you mean 'you' have to get the atmosphere going in the first place? That's my point, I don't have to. I already stand in a place where there is an atmosphere.

If away fans were near the south stand how good would that be???? Any one remember sk1 at filbert?? Brilliant!! I was a teenager at the time but I think it was full off blokes

i was using "you" to refer to any person.

The point is for there to be an atmosphere there needs to be people who'll work towards setting that atmosphere up in the first place.

The Kop = kopq.jpg

And L1 is (mostly) full of ******. Point being...?

And to be fair, the Kop actually got a number of songs going yesterday.

Give me the Kop over L1 any day of the week

To be Mate, I've never been to a game and thought the kop was better atmosphere then L K ot j3 blocks!! Only my opinion though!

I'm not being funny, but when the team fail to inspire us it's going to be pretty flat. Regardless of what anyone says. I know we should act in a positive way to help the team, but it doesn't always work like that.

I know that, which is why I respect the Fosse Boys.

But realistically they they are not going to create a great atmopshere because there just aren't enough people in that area. And if I went there there it would most likely not make much difference to that.

And If I attempted to start songs no one would join in. So I have to settle with joining in with everyone else.

yes i remember it in there used to be in the old pen1, right in the corner where standing on your seat was the norm and non stop singing , i was only a teenager myself when used to go down there, the good old days !!!

So basically, L1 has been over run by teenage nobs who don't sing..

So the blokes who did have gone to the KOP...

And now don't stand or sing...

So the stadium becomes MORE silent.

i wasn't really focussing on the fosse boys or L1, more other sections of the crowd who seem content to just sit there on their hands and only start singing if everyone else does.

Obviously it's not my job to tell people how they should support their team, but so long as the overwhelming majority have the sort of "follow but don't start" attitude you expressed earlier, the ground will remain dead regardless of what goes on on the pitch.

The thing with the argument that the Fosse Boys don't have enough bodies to make it good is that it's too short termist.

Right now, no we don't. I reckon all of us would admit to that. There are only about 20-30 of us in the top corner BUT there are plenty of empty seats around us at most games, which is the reason why we chose that part of the ground in the first place.

Are you still having problems with stewards?
