lcfcsnow Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 He needed to change the midfield as it's not been good enough, just wish we had a decent replacement, not Oakley Vitor as sub remains a joke.
MikeyT Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Interesting midfield. If it works we'll say it was some good decision making. If we lose, Sven will get annihilated.
Joe. Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Shame about Bruma and PVA and Oakley, maybe he thinks King needed a rest? There's absolutely nothing wrong with either of them.
Matt Posted 2 April 2011 Author Posted 2 April 2011 Yes then. Sven may have grown some balls. King needed dropping, If he hadn't have played for Wales then I may have a different opinion given he'd had a rest, I'd have liked to see Abe play, and glad to see Weale back. Would prefer Vitor to Bruma but hey ho. C'mon lad's no second chances anymore, as far as i'm concerned playoffs are out of the question/on hold, but there still to play for if we pull our fingers out, lets go for it, and do this!
ScouseFox Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 We've won 1 in 6, and Vitor played and played well. So let's leave him on the bench.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 There's absolutely nothing wrong with either of them. PVA was shite before he got injured, had one good game and that was it. Bruma is very average, how Vitor isnt playing I dont know, certainly warrants a place more than Bruma.
Libertine Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 You just know Weale will drop a clanger today. Interesting selection. Not too miffed about King, would prefer Yuki to Oakley though.
Bert Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 PVA was shite before he got injured, had one good game and that was it. Bruma is very average, how Vitor isnt playing I dont know, certainly warrants a place more than Bruma. Get a grip.
tomtom Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Bruma is very average??...Haha..I'm guessing you didn't go QPR I agree vitor should start but in place of bamba
Guest Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Leeds beating Trees, Millwall beating Hull are good results for us if they stay that way (and we win).
Matt Posted 2 April 2011 Author Posted 2 April 2011 Leeds beating Trees, Millwall beating Hull are good results for us if they stay that way (and we win). Counts for nothing if we don't win though. It's all on us.
Callabinho Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Van Aanholt is much better than Burner, and better attacking wise than Mee, He is a constant threat coming forward so I am glad he is back in. Plus Bruma is class!
sdb Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Vitor i'd play, and I wouldn't start Oakley, but otherwise it's a tasty looking team imo.
m00nie Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 i think we have a strong attacking team which will be the reason we win today.. can see us getting overrun in the midfiled though and can see it being a high scoring game..
goose2010 Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 i think the chages are brave but fair play to sven, Abe has done a lot of travelling over the last week so can understand him being dropped king is off form and needed dropping/resting! and i think 90% of people on here will be happy with ricardo being dropped!
m00nie Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 and i think 90% of people on here will be happy with ricardo being dropped! im in the 10% then.. wrong choice imo.. (also wasnt it said weale had a mare in the closed doors game)
MikeyT Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 i think we have a strong attacking team which will be the reason we win today.. can see us getting overrun in the midfiled though and can see it being a high scoring game.. As long as we score one more than them, that's fine.
Callabinho Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Interesting line up, I feel a Draw today although we do need a win.
Guest Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 I think it's a good thing to change - we haven't been doing well enough lately. Abe and King played in international games - seems fair enough to rest them - sadly that means Oakley starting but with both out it is inevitable. I worry about Weale's propensity to let long range efforts in and would have preferred Ricardo but Weale is a good keeper so I don't have a problem. Team looks Faaaast and it should be a great game to watch. Only hope I can find a stream.
