C'mon then lads, I'm sick of saying but it's the final straight now and it really is our last chance, we need to get back on track. Cannot afford to lose today, infact I don't think we can afford to draw today.

Convincing City win going into 2 home games.

Middlesborough 0 - 3 Leicester City.

2x Kamara.

1x Yakubu.

Morning all,

Been out of the country for the last 3+ weeks, so I have not seen any of our games since the limp draw against Coventry...:S

It has all gone terribly wrong in my absence but I have absolutely no idea why, not only did I not see the games but I saw nothing in the way of serious reports so I have no idea of what the problems have been...:dunno:

Anyway, trying to be positive I think we need 7 wins in our last 8 games, 76 points is usually enough for a playoff spot in this league and gives us a fighting chance this time around. Time for Sven and his players to really show us what they can do.

play offs are still in reach, if you predict the results slightly bias like Burnley to lose two and a few others to draw we can get back to 7th in two games, It's so tight that any type of slip up will look disastrous on paper! so lets keep the faith and hope we can get a result against the boro. in a game like this its who wants it more!

I just hope the team has used the international break to catch up with fitness and managed to eliminate most motivational issues.

The awful Portsmouth game was the pinnacle of a very bad stretch and showed that everything can go wrong in one single football game.

No more lacklustre and incoherent displays, please!

No matter what the situation regarding the playoff picture is, here's to an entertaining game.

With plenty of goals on our side.

Spending another couple of hours in Newcastle before taking the train down South to the Riverside.

C'MON CITY!!!

Staying in Gateshead at the mo and getting on the train to borough at 12.30. No point in what might have been, today we must win... The squad is fit and rested, the new signings are available... NO EXCUSES Sven.. Let's beat borough and keep the pressure on

Yak needs to get his scoring boots on again and I'm sure he knows that, plus Kamara will want to make a good first impression for us. We need these points desperately. Tough game i think though.

Obviously want 3 points but I'm thinking draw.

It looked like the players thought the season was over and they were looking forward to their holidays.

Relying on others as much as our own result, need others to slip up but more importantly we need to take advantage if they do.

1-2, Yak and King back on track :fc:

Didn't Kamara play for Mowbray at WBA, if so he'll know how to deal with him, hopefully that will allow Yakubu and King to make an impact.

Well, I hope their holidays are as disappointing as ours....:(

Spent most of the time waiting for the wind to drop so we could get out on the water, the sea was all churned up and diving, even when possible, was pointless. It was also too rough for novice sailors like us, went out with an instructor a couple of times but it's not the same.

Plenty of football on TV at the hotel, (ESPN and Fox Soccer) EPL, La Liga, Serie A all in abundance, but no real coverage of the Championship.

I can only assume that Sven has been missing my analysis and general advice, clearly lost without me....
