rico Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Returning to television later this year after Channel 5 signed a 2 year deal, series to begin with a celebrity version in summer Don't mind the celebrity one but not really bothered that its coming back
Webbo Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 At least I can ignore it on channel 5 rather than channel 4 this year.
ajthefox Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Can see why 5 are doing it because it will make money, but by god if it wasn't shit already it soon will be.
J.Lisemore Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 so obvious it was going to come back, it could go on forever really.
ajthefox Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 so obvious it was going to come back, it could go on forever really. it'll be under a different television company surely though so it's not as if before the "ultimate big brother" it was planned to come back...
The Doctor Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Didn't care that it went, don't care that it's back, don't watch channel 5 anyway making it easier to not stumble across it not knowing tv schedules.
Fox You Forest Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 don't watch channel 5 anyway I always see what films are on late at night because Jean Claude is a regular and you never know when you might miss some cinematic genius like...
MikeyT Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 I think it was Billy Connolly that said, "It's people sitting in their house, watching other people sitting in one". I agree.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 it'll be under a different television company surely though so it's not as if before the "ultimate big brother" it was planned to come back... It'll probably still be Endemol or one of it's sister companies that produces it, though, most likely. I can't imagine it changing all that much bar what channel it's on, and who presents it. I'm quite pleased to be honest, I used to watch it intensely up until 2008 when that boring Welsh woman Rachel won, but I still found it good entertainment from time to time. The series in 2006 was class. It is what it is, I love people that get wound up by it though.

samjohnson Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Never really enjoyed it... Glad its on Channel 5. Its one channel I think is utterly pointless.
LCFCmatt Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 I bet the "celebs" will just be actors from hollyoaks or one hit wonders from ten years ago
General Smuts Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 Tempted to apply for a laugh. I've said this every year for the past 3 years mind.
lcfc_jme Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 Never really enjoyed it... Glad its on Channel 5. Its one channel I think is utterly pointless. Utter rubbish. Channel 5 shows Neighbours 5 days a week. That alone justifies the continued broadcasting of Channel 5. Ahhh, Neighbours.
ajthefox Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 Utter rubbish. Channel 5 shows Neighbours 5 days a week. That alone justifies the continued broadcasting of Channel 5. Ahhh, Neighbours. Too true. Not seeing Neighbours makes me miss not having a tv at uni, although I have just realised I think there's a catch up thing for channel 5

Not seeing Neighbours makes me miss not having a tv at uni, although I have just realised I think there's a catch up thing for channel 5 I'm so glad my flat this year came with free TV and Freeview, to be honest. If you're at uni and you don't watch one of either Neighbours or Hollyoaks, you're probably not doing it right. Neighbours dominates because it's actually an enjoyable piece of procrastination.

Plus theres more Chebs readily available with it being hotter in Ramsey Street than Chester
