RobHayes90 Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 I've just put together a 15 minute radio documentary based on former Leicester City players, the career paths they've followed after football, and how difficult it is for former players to adjust to life after football. It also looks at the support networks in place to help ex-professionals embark on a new life. I have a few ideas for the title of the piece, which will be published online within the next 10 days, but I thought I'd open it out to City fans and see what you can come up with. Be creative, but also concise. I'll need your ideas by no later than 10am tomorrow (Thursday). I appreciate everyone's help on this, and who knows, you could be accredited with the title of a documentary that will reach thousands of City fans!
Babylon Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 "City to shitty" "I'm not famous anymore" "Pro to schmo" "Legend to leg end" "After they were famous" I'll come back with a serious one later!!! Or just shorten your original "City to Civvy"

RumbleFox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Fosse to Doss? Signing Autographs to Signing on? For Fox Sake? I like cheese? Giz a job. Fossing about? Old Blues to Dole Queues? Fox, and on the dole? This one you are reading right now is not a serious answer. News Round? Grange Hill? OK, so some were just silly but one or two were OK. Good luck with the program anyway, sounds interesting. RobHayes90 Posted 8 June 2011 Author Posted 8 June 2011 Thanks a lot to everyone who voted. It means a lot to be able to name my documentary after something chosen by Foxes fans. I settled eventually on Filbert Street to Civvy Street, as this got an overwhelming majority on the votes. Sorry it's taken me a while to get back on here. The documentary was published online a couple of days ago, and you can listen to it here; http://www.soarmagazine.co.uk/2011/06/02/filbert-street-to-civvy-street/ All of your thoughts, comments and likes are much appreciated, and if you like the documentary, tell your fellow City fans about it, and feel free to follow me on twitter @Robert_A_Hayes, youtube.com/RobertAHayes and souncloud.com/r-a-hayes Once again, thanks for contributing to this discussion, and I hope you like the documentary!
