Got to 6-1 on the Madrid one.

Bastards saved a penalty.

Won that 8-1 at the third attempt. 750XP is a decent reward tbf.

In career mode in my 5th season and after getting rid of Andy King near the start I've had to buy him back off Burnley as he's now 80.

Wilshere is sick, up to 89 now and Hazards on 87.

How good has everyone got their Virtual Pro? Mine's up to 80 now I think.

The new challenge is ridiculously easy. 2-0 down as Holland against Germany and you have the 2nd half to get at least a draw. Semi-pro difficulty.

I need some help.

I've been playing online in the head to head seasons and I've not got a good record.

* Whenever I play through balls to the front men they just get cut out, yet the opposition's always go straight to their forwards' feet.

* My back four are always getting nailed yet I find it very difficult to break through the opposition defence unless I have a rapid forward who can chase long balls or I play down the wings.

* People are scoring jammy goals against me but my pot shots never work.

What am I doing wrong lads?

Through Balls, Passing etc. What controler settings do you have on? Manual, Assisted, Semi- Assited etc?

Breaking down defences, comes with experience I'm afaird however have you tried 'ping pong' passing? Hold LB and A basically doing one two's.

If your using Leicester. DON'T PLAY WELLENS. Play M.Johnson instead of him he's a beast on here.

The jammy goals situation happens to me too, probably everyone some of the goals are actually a joke.

Have you tried a 4-3-3 with Leicester?

Thanks mate. Not sure what controller settings I have. I assume it's manual.

Passing isn't a problem with me. I can basically keep possession for most of the game , it's just the end product.

What I struggle to understand most is how the opposition back four are always completely rigid while mine flail about like slow idiots.

Absolutely in love with this game still, forget call of duty only thing that annoys me when on career mode is when you want to buy a player and it says 'player has recently joined' hate it!

Has anyone realised FIFA had an update the other day? All loan signings added to squads :)

I noticed it, but only because it takes longer to do my squads now as Balotelli is in Man City's starting line up and Vassell is well down in the reserves for Leicester :(

Ive had to resort to a wa*ker formation of 5-2-1-2. Works brilliantly. Back 5 are always solid, I usually just play it as a 3-4-1-2 though, and use my wing backs as midfielders, but leaving them in defence means they play deeper so they dont get caught out as much. Online record is 22-6-6 and 3 of the losses came from messing about so not too bad.

I'm going to have to try that :P I currently play 4-1-2-1-2 so it may not be too dissimilar, but since promotion to division three I've really been struggling... :(

Currently in division 4.

I'm still sick of some of the goals I concede.

I swear I just get too bored with some sides, I do brilliantly with them then just dip.

If Napoli had a good right winger and a better centre half pairing, they'd be unstoppable.

Interesting, I could do with that once I get into a winning position. I throw 3-0s and 2-0s away far too often, it's embarrassing.

What teams work well with that formation?
