Simmsy Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 They improved but they've gone back to being terrible again. I played 2 UT games in a row in whick I was given the coins etc yet afterwards it told me I left my last game and my DNF modifier had gone down. The servers piss me off so much.

I know I used to be the voice for 5 at the back, but ive stopped using it as it put too much pressure on me by anybody half decent as i moved up higher the league. Been in division 1 for 3 seasons and keep getting win, win, draw, loss, or w/d/l/w/d/l. I cant get those precious 20 points. I keep getting put against people with 5 at the back and I find myself getting countered when I push my players up which is getting annoying. Need to sharpen up my skills. I'm good at defending and pass and move but i rarely use a lot of skill moves and I think thats the differene between a good fifa player and a great fifa player.

I'd say I'm an ok-ish player but completely incapable of using skills. Seem to have hit a brick wall in head to head seasons and never seem to win UT tournaments (several finals but never make the final step.)

It works fine once you type it in and get going again, it's just annoying.

For me, most people in division one are pretty good at controlling their centre backs and simply dribbling past them is a lot harder if the person is good (which is usually the case in division one). I dont use THAT much skills but get used to holding left trigger more and just a few twiddles and flicks to the direction you want to go to usually helps. I also won the league with Lyon, I found LLoris to be REALLY REALLY good for a 4.5 star team alongside lopez whos finishing is 90. Pass and move is obviously important but getting use to skill is pretty necessary. I've seen a lot of custom formations of GK RB---CB---CB---LB CDM CAM RW------------------LW ST----ST Looks really good and i've had some trouble dealing with it. Unfortunately I cant cant make custom formatiosn on my fifa as it always crashes it, but might be worth checking out. Just looks like a more aggressive and practical 4-4-2

Almost everybody I seem to play against has a way of defending where they basically just smash my players to the floor whilst usually winning the ball yet never concede a free kick. How are they doing it? I use the normal tackle buttons and the trigger for the new defence control and I'm fairly good at timing it all etc, but everybody else seems to be able to just smash my players about.

Not sure I dare try to win the league, was worrying I was heading towards relegation in Division 2, but luckily won my last 4 games in a row. Thank you guy who got two red cards in the first half.

Dan Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Not going to pretend I know but from what I remember, once you start a career mode then the stats of the players can only be effected by what happens on that game. I mean, what if your pro starts as a 72, goes up to a 78 on the game following a transfer away, then you get him up on online clubs to a 74? He won't drop to a 74, not on previous versions anyway.

Manager mode does not affect it so if your player is say, 80 overall and you get him to 82 on a different game mode, he will stay as 82 for every game mode.

You normally know if they have done it cause there virtual pros have a stupid afro and keep calling for the ball.
