I'd imagine there are quite a few Humanists.

To be honest I've never given them much of a thought but these days saying you're atheist in some circles feel like your saying you don't believe in life or people, even the Bishop of Leicester has taken to referring to vocal atheists as Militant Atheists.

Having taken a little time to read that website it felt comfortable so I'll pursue it further not that I feel like, as with my political views putting my life/existence in a box.

I reckon instead of left to right stance it should of been a 'which party' poll instead. I vote conservative but agree with some policies from UKIP.. I'm guessing that's right not far right.

Surely that's more suited to the current poll then?

Plus not everybody is necessarily going to favour a party.

What classifies as other for gender?

The options are actually incorrect as you can't be male/ female regarding gender - that is your sex.

The options should be masculine/ feminine etc (but that's very reductive as you never one nor the other at any one time - and what is perceived masculine etc behaviour varies from class/ location/ culture). Your sex is a biological classification and your gender is a social construction that is shaped and defined by the society (micro and macro) which you inhabit.

I would assume other in this context means that you see yourself as neither male nor female or both.

Surely if you're Christian and not catholic then you must be protestant by default. What counts as Christian other?

Mormon, Orthodox, Snake handler etc

Mormom would count as protestant surely, you're right about the orthodox though.

EDIT; On reflection I'm not sure about mormoms either.

As far as I'm aware, Mormonism is not a sect of Protestantism and of course there is the Orthodox church.

I intentionally put gender instead of sex for that reason, PV, but I thought deviating from Male and Female would lead to be just having to explain myself on here. I think you'd have to be something of a pedant to quibble male and female.

Im surprised by the number of Agnostic's... Im intrigued by the "decision" to be agnostic.
