Kitchandro Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 BBC So who does everyone want to go down? Who do you think will go down? Will you be watching? Could you not care less? I hope it's Birmingham and Blackpool. Birmingham partly because of that Gardner comment in the link - being in the Premiership is more important than making history and winning a trophy - I hate that attitude. Partly because their players are a bunch of inbred pikeys. Blackpool partly because I can't stand Holloway. And not because he got us relegated, but because he thinks everyone cares what he thinks, and that he whinges about stuff that doesn't concern him. He also has this 'everyone's out to get us' attitude that's so repellent. Their fans are the same actually, the used to have a weird inferirority complex and now they think they're a massive Club. Oh, and DJ's a nob.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 I want Blackpool to stay up, They've been refreshing to watch all season long. But the phrase 'mammoth task' is an understatement for them tomorrow.
ScouseFox Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 Not fussed really. Probably go Blackpool & Wolves if I was forced to send two down, but reckon it'll be Birmingham & Wigan.
Bert Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 Want to go down - Wigan and Blackpool. Think will go down - Brum and Blackpool Not only do both have potential to be nice weekend trips but on a personal note, I've never been to Wigan and Blackpool were so cocky when they were doing well. I think Wolves and Blackburn have done enough, and a draw will do them. Never been to them either, buy I'm sure I'll get there one day. Wolves and Wigan have the best form going into it all, and Stoke are on a bad run. Still very much up in the air and there's going to be so many twists and turns. Looking forward to it.
Kitchandro Posted 21 May 2011 Author Posted 21 May 2011 There is the thing about Wigan having an empty stadium even in the Prem, not sure what I think about that though. On the one hand it annoys me seeing empty stadiums in the Prem when I know ours would be full, on the other hand imagine how empty it will be in this league, so I can't invisage it being a great away game atmosphere-wise.
ScouseFox Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 Whatever happens it's gonna be a great day to watch Jeff and the Boys. Exciting.
StanSP Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 Think Wigan, Blackpool and Birmingham will all lose tomorrow, but at some point, all will be winning their matches during their 90mins. It's just a case of who lets in more goals for the Blackpool and Birmingham matches. Birmingham just have to make sure they match Blackpool's score and they're safe. If they let in one more than Blackpool, and still lose, then they're down cos Blackpool have scored more over the season! Should be fun trying to keep up with all of it!
Brown Fox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Tomorrow is going to madness. Can't wait! My heart wants Blackpool to stay up because it's been amazing watching them this year, but my head wants them down so we have easier opposition next year. Think it will be Wigan and Blackpool.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Wigan are a shocking club. How many did the take to arsenal? 68? Apparentley theres an unwritten rule up there that anyone from the town of wigan who supports their rugby team automatically hates the football club. (Im only going on what a wigan rugby fan told me.) Blackpool- punching above their weight, and allegedly are 'everyones second team' don't hate holloway though Wigan are a shocking club. Any other teams coming down will hamper our own chances next season
Fox92 Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Hope Wigan stay up, got some family connections up there in Lancashire. I want Blackpool to come down, although I think they'll win 0-1 at Old Trafford, and don't care about the other team although I have never been to Birmingham and always wanted to go.
MikeyT Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Should be an interesting day today. Looking forward to watching all the ups and downs unfold. I for one am not a fan of Wigan or Blackburn so wouldn't be at all bothered seeing them come down. "Survival Sunday"? It's being hailed as that on Sky Sports News.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Dont think it'll be as big as its hyped to be. Birmingham & Blackpool to go.
cairnsy Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 As long as Blackpool **** off out the prem and stay where they belong at the bottom of the championship next year I'll be happy
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Blackpool and Wigan for me. Both little clubs punching well above their weight. Will hopefully keep that gobshite Holloway out of the spotlight a little more. He was on about his defence being like a 24hr shop yesterday. Idiot!!
whitlock Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Blackpool need to get a result at OT, can't see it, yet West ham did it few years ago. I like Wigan and Martinez, so hope they stay up, Stoke tough gaff to go to though, hate Brum so fingers crossed they go down. Anybody know, IF Brum go down, what happens with Europe next season? They still eligable for it?

ScouseFox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Blackpool just need to lose by less than Brum, and if Wigan don't win, then Blackpool stay up on goals scored. No result necessary at OT. It's gonna be mad, so many outcomes possible, but, with Wolves/Blackburn playing each other, for the other 3 teams it's win and you stay up, basically.
Corky Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 I've gone for Birmingham and Blackpool. Both will lose while Wigan claim a point at Stoke. Wolves will beat Blackburn but it won't matter in terms of relegation. Surprised that Birmingham are struggling, thought they'd be comfortable this year while Blackpool have done well, but Holloway is playing the "little club" line too much.
Fosse Boy Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 It's being hailed as that on Sky Sports News. Was well aware. Utterly ridiculous. Sounds like summat Vince McMahon would dream up.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Think Blackpool and Brum will go down, though as long as Blackpool go down I dont care.

accessory Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Despise Wigan - a club that represents everything bad about the Premier League. They have no history or fanbase, and are completely dependent on their sugar-daddy owner (who's really a Blackburn fan anyway), plus they play in a town which makes Coventry look like a paradise. Would anyone miss them if they were relegated? Sadly, I don't think it will happen today. Blackpool and the brummies will save them.
