Almost out of contract and strong links with Sven, playing in the MLS compared to playing for the team he has been a lifelong fan of, no links with sven (?) and playing European football! But that's just my opinion, i'm sure others would have thought Becks was less likely to come here!

I've actually said exactly the opposite. My point was that none of us actually know what's going to happen, so why do some people get all abusive when another user shares a rumour that they've been told.

Ian Holloway has been desperate to boost his strike-force having sold Dj Campbell to QPR. And he has set his sights on the BK Hacken frontman, who is the top scorer in Sweden with 17 goals in 21 games so far this season. Ranegie, who stands at 6ft 4in, is thought to be keen on the move but BK Hacken are likely to want nearer £1m for the 27-year-old.
