Some pretty reliable sources, Bert and Fourth Official in particular, have suggested or hinted that we are going all out for Maynard this week. Bert's no rumour-mongerer, and Fourth Official has certainly not acted like one so far, so it's Transfer News...from Twitter. That's why it's in here and being discussed.

I think he's a great Championship striker, but, and I have to repeat this (again) he has a track record of picking up bad injuries, has had one good full season and has one year left on his deal. Bristol City have played an absolute blinder here. Him scoring twice at the KP couldn't have worked out any better for them.
