ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 I'm not sure people would agree but I would take the Yak over Maynard I would too! Long term obviously Maynard has more to offer but our aim has to be to get promoted THIS season and I'd put money on Yakubu bagging 20 goals for us if he came.

The whole Yak saga resurfacing could be a ploy to force BCFC's hand to accept an offer. By the looks of it we hard balled Liverpool for Konchesky with Masilela.... Could this be the same? We don't know how much money is available. I think having both would be complete overkill.... nevertheless, Awesome.

I'd love that, maybe AN was telling the truth when he said we haven't bid for Yak and it's just an elaborate plan to get some bums twitching in Bristol.
