Personal Ticket Assistant

I was contacted by a lady from the club today to tell me she was going to

be my personal ticket assistant for the forthcoming season. Nobody

else seems to have mentioned it so I must be special.

This happened to a friend - had to call the club up to make sure it wasn't some scam! Odd idea...

im guessing the club are going to give the new people running the office some sort of comission if they sell above the average gate expected.

Expect them to call asking you to book tickets every week.

i have one but every time i ring it i get no answer so i ring the ticket line and sit on the end off the phone for ages. only ring if the game is coming up or away tickets otherwise i book online

I have one too... apparently, very nervous guy rang up and I had a 60 second 'conversation' of sheer awkwardness before he told me I could call him if I needed tickets. Weird.

You have that effect on people Danny, you give out invisible emanations.

How do you get one of these then!

I don't go to every away game but have gone to a fair few over the last 2 or 3 years, and liked the option of e-mailing the club requesting a call back but they stopped that last season and made ordering tickets such a chore, 1) You got put on hold for ages, sometimes so long that you actually get cut off and 2) I usually work hours 6am to 5.30pm - Don't really get chance to call, especially to sit on hold for so long, luckily (Not for them to sit on hold for so long) I have someone I can get to call for me the majority of the time.

I have one too. Gave me a tour of the stadium last December. Basically it's just a way of getting people who used to be member or season ticket holders back into the fold I guess. I'm thinking that if you get a good one (mine is Stuart and seems good enough), then it's no bad thing.
