Stevosevic Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 The first match is on Saturday, today is Monday, you don't need it untl Friday. Do you think the club are not going to send out tickets before the first match? Idiots. And maybe if he emailed the right department he would have received an answer. Any maybe if his wife had left her details to request a call back they may receive an answer.
Brown Fox Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Not really, his reaction made perfect sense to me. And he went through all the right channels. Ball in LCFC's park now. I'm sure on the official site it said there'd be a delay in the issue of season tickets. He doesn't need it until Saturday, I don't have mine and neither do the rest of my family so we've also paid quite a lot of money and i just think he didn't really need to phone up when in reality what the bloody hell are Stringer and Youngy going to do about it?!
Sods Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 I can park my car for £12 but I cant watch the game! Unless this guy is disabled or has family that are disabled that sentence alone makes him look a mug.

Because he couldn't get through to the club. And like Haydos just mentioned, communication in this regard has been rather poor. Could've put something on the OS to let everyone know the season tickets would be delivered in time before the first home game this Saturday.
Nocturnal Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Darth Vader on the phone then Do people not keep up with the news? Long is going to wba.
The Padster Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Could've put something on the OS to let everyone know the season tickets would be delivered in time before the first home game this Saturday. Surely common sense should make an appearence around here and say that's pretty damned obvious ? Then again, common sense does seem to be lacking in many nowadays.
MC Prussian Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Surely common sense should make an appearence around here and say that's pretty damned obvious ? Then again, common sense does seem to be lacking in many nowadays. When did last season's STs arrive?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Sounds like it was a good one. I'll crank up the iPlayer.
David Lowe Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 On the moan-in as a whole, much better than last season. The silly features and interviews have gone - all we want is the callers even if most are clueless. I love Birch but glad he has gone to Thursday because he could never say anything interesting as an employee of the club.
The Padster Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 When did last season's STs arrive? Christ knows, didn't have one. But what that has got to do with when this years arrive considering the change of format, I don't know.
VampLCFC Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 That's an hour of my life I'm never going to get back
stockyfox Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Spent over thirty minutes trying to get through tonight. Sorry to disappoint you MikeyT. I was going to pick up on not just the Mirror article which was an utter disgrace and I reckon was also libellous but more so on the comments of Andy Thorn. Which game was he at on Saturday? By the way, did anybody mention that they also printed the wrong score in the Mirror!
Babylon Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Could've put something on the OS to let everyone know the season tickets would be delivered in time before the first home game this Saturday. I thought they had, i'm sure I read something about it. Sure it said something about if they haven't arrived by x time to contact the ticket office either in person or phone etc.

MC Prussian Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 http://www.lcfc.com/...2403996,00.html Alright, maybe he should've asked his daughter to check the internets before he made that call. Maybe they could stack up on staff in the ticket office in order to cope with the demands.
Narborough Bod Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Surely common sense should make an appearence around here and say that's pretty damned obvious ? Then again, common sense does seem to be lacking in many nowadays. Common sense would also say that the club wouln't send duplicate &triplicate tickets with countless location / spelling errors, but they are. Leaving it unt the last minute is shambolic & believe are right to be concerned / annoyed. And the fact that the home season hasn't started yet is irrelevant. The ST gives discounts, therefore some fans may not be able to make the savings that they want on club shop purchases.
The Padster Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Common sense would also say that the club wouln't send duplicate &triplicate tickets with countless location / spelling errors, but they are. No, that is just a mistake (accident) not common sense. Granted a repeated mistake but an mistake nonetheless. Leaving it unt the last minute is shambolic & believe are right to be concerned / annoyed. No, leaving it until the last minute is hardly "shambolic", silly maybe but not shambolic. They could have sent them out in batches over a period of time but they have decided to make them all up and send them out in one go, as said, silly but not shambolic. Again no, people have no 'right' to be annoyed until they actually suffer an inconvenience from said mistake, you haven't missed a game due to this (so far) so it amounts to just moaning because you don't have your shiny new toy to hold. And the fact that the home season hasn't started yet is irrelevant. The ST gives discounts, therefore some fans may not be able to make the savings that they want on club shop purchases. Of course it's relevant, apart from the discount point (which is answered below) then you have no need for your ST until this Saturday. Alright, fair one but still, your only waiting (potentially) an extra week or two for your discount. A minor pain in the backside at worst.
MikeyT Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Can't wait to hear the callers on the lines tonight!
MikeyT Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Maybe Faruk will show his wrath can't believe how often he rings and how often they let him on. RL if you are reading this...give others a chance! haha
