Corky Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 How Alan Shearer avoided that list, I'll never know! He'll be disappointed with that.
Haydos Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Jamie Redknapp worse than Townsend? No chance. A lot of the time Redknapp is spot on even if he can't quite say what he means. (Not to mention he's a stunning fellow. And Andy Gray?! Love to know who they think are the best. EDIT: After reading the list the only complaint about Redknapp was that he used literally wrong. <_<

ousefox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 How is Mark Lawrenson anywhere near that list? He's the best pundit in football.
Libertine Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 This Sir Killalot lances through to Sgt. Bash, who fires home!

accessory Posted 3 July 2011 Author Posted 3 July 2011 I'm sure if the same list is being done this time next year, Robbie Savage will have earned a place on it - especially if he's still working alongside Lawro at the Mirror.
Father Ted Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Should be: 1) Adrian mardy bastard Chiles 2) David Pleat 3) Andy Townsend 4) Robbie Earle 5) Steve Mcmanaman 6) Peter Beagrie Rest = any disabled itv employ
Guest Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Clive Tyldesley. Unable to go a game without mentioning Man Utd and 'Barcelona 1999'. Twat.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Peter Beagrie is woeful. The ones that actually know what they're on about and speak sense are : Alan Hansen Ray Wilkins (despite being boring)

Clive Tyldesley. Unable to go a game without mentioning Man Utd and 'Barcelona 1999'. Twat. I was at a Football Blogging awards thing with Fez (he was nominated for his excellent blog The Seventy Two). Tyldesley was presenting award. The guy who presented the next award started off with "Well that's the longest Clive has gone without mentioning that night in Barcelona".
FoxyPV Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Lee Dixon is usually spot on. <reiterate Shearer comments>

He and Roy Keane were actually quite decent during the Champions League final. I suspect Keane will feature more often for ITV on Champions League nights, especially now his career in management seems to have ground to a halt.
