Daft cvnts talking out their arse.

Maybe it's the format that's shit?

Forcing journalists making whole statements within 15, 20 seconds and expect them to make sense?

Attention-grabbing show featuring a concept as intelligent as an amoeba.

Ignorance is bliss.

And the cartoon character of Sven the media created while he was at England suits them fine for a few more column inches.

Bizarre from the first one to write us off completely, especially to say he 'very much doubts' Sven knows the Championship when he has been with us since October, and all but one of his signings this summer were playing Championship football last season.

I think Mack is right that the lazier of the hacks just cling rigidly to the caricature of Sven as an incompetent money grabber created by the redtops.

Am I the only one who thinks it's reasonable for people to think we're not going to boss the league. The first journalist makes a fair point that Sven doesn't know this league. Sven admitted as much after last season, which is why he's changed his approach and is going for established Championship players this season. However we still don't know if it's going to work, and the scenario the journalist suggests could quite easily happen.

There seems to be a widespread opinion that we're going to boss the league and walk away with the title, and that anyone who thinks this might not happen doesn't have a clue about football, or is a nob. The result of this is that as soon as we go through a patch when we're not winning games 4-0 fans are going to start getting impatient. It's infuriating, and it's so obviously going to happen. It happened under Pearson in League 1 and in the Championship when we had a bit of a dip in form, and it will happen again.

Ultimately, if anyone's the idiots, it's us. Leicester fans. Everyone of you infuriates me in every possible way. In fact, football fans in general. We're all idiots.

Fuck football, I'm off to watch some cricket.

Yep, it fucked me off most in our relegation season, we'd been shit for years, scraping through, yet people still came up with 'Barnsley, we should be easily beating teams like that' (For example), fans still thought we were Premiership class, and disrespected opposition, yet we were awful, but through those blue-tinted glasses (Which is advised to take off ever now and again) people obviously saw it very differently.

I personally think we are one of the favourites this season but that means nothing, I don't think we will win the league, I struggle to believe we'll get 2nd place, although I hope we get 1st or 2nd, I would expect to be around the playoffs again though.

What annoyed me about the first guy was that he thought we'd struggle because we'd spent a lot of money . What a cock. I don't think we're certainties to go up by any stretch, but how can strengthening your team make you struggle? Sure the team might not gel but you could say the same about any team.

A fair post Alex and I personally think it would be far more healthy for us as a club, from the players to the fans, to see expectations tempered in the press. Seeing every journo in every paper tip us to piss the league with 100 points on the board would worry me, it's very fair to say we'll have a great deal of strong competition from a number of clubs and I'd be lying if I said I actively expected us to win this division.

What I found bizarre though was not only his writing us off completely from being competitive, but his reasoning which has been alluded to by Webbo. You have only to compare the transfer policy Sven had last season, where he naively in my opinion plumped for Premiership fringe players and underestimated the quality of this league, to strengthening the squad this summer with players who all with the exception of Peltier have good Championship experience. It's obvious that Sven has watched this league very keenly since arriving here if you take the time to look, and I strongly suspect that the first journo hasn't. He seems simply to be going along the line of 'foreign owners, Sven as manager, spending a lot so they must be another Notts County where it'll all go tits up' without actually looking into it.

The person I found myself agreeing with most was actually the second journalist, there are some good clubs in this league with some excellent managers of which we are but one. To deny this as his peer did is remarkably short-sighted.
