Happy Fox Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2395032,00.html Leicester City can confirm that a mutual agreement has been reached with defender Robbie Neilson for the cancellation of his contract with immediate effect.
sdb Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 That's 1 off the books. Shame we had to pay him rather than get a little ourselves. Thought Brentford loved him? Next up we need to get DN'G out on loan.
wayne76 Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Good luck robbie! Anyone thats donned the leicester shirt deserves a decent fairwell from the club! Regardless of his qualitys!
paddy Agyemang Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Thank you Sven I've waited for this day since I was at portman road 2 year ago and it was his debut

Jakemoore Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 He was so sh*t apart from when we played Macclsefield......He found his level....League 2
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Think he was a bit of a scapegoat at times, but although he wasnt up to it he always gave 100% and never stopped trying, especially at the start of last season when most fans recognised this. Good luck to him, wasnt a great player but quite a likeable one.

Good luck to him, wasnt a great player but quite a likeable one. Amen to that my friend. Have to say, he was our best defender under Paulo - fact. Anybody at Carrow Road that horrible tuesday night will know we were screaming at Sousa to put Neilson on for hopeless Lamey, who cost us 3 out of the 4 goals we conceded.
Corky Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Good luck robbie! Anyone thats donned the leicester shirt deserves a decent fairwell from the club! Regardless of his qualitys! Not everyone. Anyway, I was there when he scored. Proud moment.
lcfcadam Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 QPR away under Pearson he was as awesome as everyone else in a truly awesome team that night. Sadly not the kind of performance he was up to pulling out week-in week-out at this level - wish him luck for the future nonetheless...
Fox92 Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 He did give 100% and he did get stuck in during games, not backing out of tackles what so ever. I'll like him for that but he wasn't good enough at the end of the day.
Narborough_fox Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Was one of the only 2 or 3 players to have any respect from me during the start of last season. Good luck Robbie.
millzi Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Good luck robbie! Anyone thats donned the leicester shirt deserves a decent fairwell from the club! Regardless of his qualitys! Or lack of...
Karljohn Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Could never fault his commitment just never showed consistency, saw him up at Newcastle and he was decent in his first few games.
rico Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Wasn't good enough, good pro though, got his head down and never complained Good luck to him
Leicester Bob Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 used to see him take his daughters down the walkers when he wasn't in the matchday squad and I always felt for him a bit, seemed like a nice chap, had plenty of grit and had shown big improvements in sousa's time at the club but like others have said no where near good enough. One thing it does show is the huge gap between the SPL and the championship he had been at one of the biggest clubs in that league, Hearts for over a decade and was their captain but you have to say he is not up to the standard of playing for even a poor championship club, makes you appreciate why Danns swerved Rangers. anyway all that aside a good profesional, who always gave it everything when called on and got stuck in. Hope he does well where ever he goes next.
