I know since 9/11 in america right-wing extremists including neo-Nazis and other white supremacists have been involved in more domestic terror plots than radical muslims.

The Oklahoma City bombing, the London nail bombings, the Tokyo subway attack and pretty much every mass shooting incident across the world should show you Islamic extremists hardly have the monopoly on mass murdering psychopaths.

If he was sentenced to that I cant believe he'd ever be safe if he got out. It still all sounds so terrrible, like a true life horror story, I feel like I did after 9/11...surely this hasn't happend, its too horrific to be true.

I'll actually take that bet on bombings and have the muslims Not trying to be provacative but I would imagine most of the bombings across the world that cause mass murder would come from Islamic groups, there are 3 or 4 a week in Afghanistan. Can't think of many others that consistently use the tactic other than Islamist groups in the across the Middle East, even more so considering the Tamils have now declared a ceasefire. That said DESPITE ALL THIS, if you read back through the thread I never even considered the possibility of this being Islamic, the tactics used and general target showed nothing in terms of something an Islamist group would try and target. An islamist attack like this wouldnt end in a arrest either as suicide bomber has always been the preferred option over a rampaging gunman.
