purpleronnie Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 If bayern can get through against madrid I think they will have a good chance against Barca, at home they can look unbeatable.
Darkon84 Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 If bayern can get through against madrid I think they will have a good chance against Barca, at home they can look unbeatable. That was my thinking. The incentive of a home crowd etc could just be enough to raise them on the night. They look so good going forward, though I'm a little worrid about the centre of their defence, but even then, you have to beat the ever impressive Manuel Neuer, that guys amazing!
whitlock Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Chelsea beats Barca and Di Matteo should be given the full time job!
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Yep think I want Barca to win. I will usually support any English club in the competition, but I just can't bring myself to do it for Chelsea.
HEGGSY Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Yep think I want Barca to win. I will usually support any English club in the competition, but I just can't bring myself to do it for Chelsea. Agreed. Mainly to do with the fact that my mate (glory hunter) thinks Chelsea will batter them at the Bridge, that, as well as me not liking Chelsea very much, all contribute towards my alliance with Barca.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Unfortunately we've all got mates like that. Sad if you ask me, but hey ho....
21st Century Fox Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 I wish Clive Tyldsley would fvck off I think he's mentioned Barcelona's possession literally every 10 seconds.
Libertine Dream Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Don't care who wins but how can anyone find Barcelona entertaining. Away from home their especially boring. I don't want Messi injured but Id like to see them without him for a long time, to see if they are a one man team really.
FoxyPV Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Barca are just a joy to watch. They make everything you see in the EPL seem turgid.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 I swear Drogba has spent more time on the deck than his feet
shen Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Don't care who wins but how can anyone find Barcelona entertaining. Away from home their especially boring. I don't want Messi injured but Id like to see them without him for a long time, to see if they are a one man team really. The only way they're boring is from watching them outplay nearly every team they meet. And obviously they're not a one man team. Xavi and Iniesta have been masterful prior to Messi's arrival, and both are in a team that has won the WC and EC without him. Puyol has been amongst the top defenders in the world the past decade, Mascherano heralded as one of the best defensive midfielders out there, while Alves is recognised as one of the, if not THE best rightbacks in the game currently. Oh and Villa wasn't exactly a nobody before he joined them either. That said, most big teams have a star individual: Barca have Messi, Real have Ronaldo, Milan have Ibrahimovic, Man U have Rooney, Man City have Agüero etc. etc.
marko Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 2 minutes of Drogba time to add on. That was pretty good for ITV.
21st Century Fox Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 He was just preserving his energy obviously.
