ramadaone Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Even before we have kicked off against Cov it is obvious that some players will have a massive point to prove on Tuesday at Rotherham - this competition for places is something that has been missing for some time so can only be a good thing
Salieri Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 We can pretty much field a more than decent second XI, hopefully that's what Svennis will do.
OLD norfox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Isn't some out for international matches ?? King , Abe , St. Ledger ?
Vlad The Impaler Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Isn't some out for international matches ?? King , Abe , St. Ledger ? Yep.
Webbo Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Isn't some out for international matches ?? King , Abe , St. Ledger ? And Peltier is injured. Will Vassell be suspended as well?
FoxesFan123 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Weale Pantsil Mills Bamba Ball Oakley Fernandes Johnson Waghord Howard Dyer Wow.What a reserve team.
Yojoe36 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 And Peltier is injured. Will Vassell be suspended as well? Yes Vassel should be suspended. He'll return for Forest I think
jockkkk Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I'm looking forward to it, I think we'll spank Rotherham.
Ashley Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Shame King is on international duty. We should of played him to cup tie him should he move on. I personally think that we are just playing the waiting game on a club to put a bid in for him. We have loads of midfielders now. 1. The bid will hopefully be rejected 2. I don't want him to go.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 We can pretty much field a more than decent second XI, hopefully that's what Svennis will do. wouldnt be surprised at all if its a totally different 11 for the Rotherham game
martinrowland Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Andy Scott is a manager with a good record in cup competitions especially in regards to knocking out much better opposition. Also, Rotherham will certainly be competing for a promotion spot this season, so lets not get too ahead of ourselves. I still wouldn't want to field Weale, I find him shaky in almost every performance hes given in the last year and on the whole just unreliable. Would be good to see a new selection of outfield players who will get stuck in and give 100%. Really would love us too see this round through and get an away tie on a terrace or with one of the Premierships top sides.

RowlattsFox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Kasper Pantsil Mills Bamba Ball Wellens Johnson Gallagher Schlupp Nugent Dyer Subs: Weale, Konchesky, Oakley, Danns, Howard, Moussa, Waghorn I personally don't think we should change the whole team, some continuity with all the new players would be useful although some changes have to be made. Johnson and Ball need minutes, Schlupp should get a chance, hope Nugent might get a goal. King and St Ledger would start if they weren't on international duty, i assume Fernandes will be as well?. Is there a chance Pantsil and Bamba might have a game?
Tomassi Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Id have thought it would be close to this... Weale Pantsil Bamba Ball Berner Oakley Johnson Gallacher Schlupp Howard Waghorn
Happy Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Id have thought it would be close to this... Weale Pantsil Bamba Ball Berner Oakley Johnson Gallacher Schlupp Howard Waghorn Spot on
Father Ted Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 As long as Schlupp is given a good chunk of time on the pitch, I will be happy.

RowlattsFox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Only allowed 5 subs... Thought its 7 still in the cups?

Happy Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I don't think Sven will put anyone from the first eleven involved today for Rotherham, mostly fringe players with Ball and Johnson for match fitness, Pantsil is away on international duty, so expect Oakley at RB
Tomassi Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I don't think Sven will put anyone from the first eleven involved today for Rotherham, mostly fringe players with Ball and Johnson for match fitness, Pantsil is away on international duty, so expect Oakley at RB Forgot about Pantsil on international duty... so Oakley are right back is a good shout... Moussa to possibly come into midfield. I'd have thought with the Vassell sending off they will save Dyer for Reading (Vassell sending off still makes me laugh)
Lambert09 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Moussa has got to be picked ahead of Oakley......guarentee he will score if he plays !!
