Haha.

We been on FL show yet?

Nope, we'll get 15 seconds at the end.

EDIT: Seeing Leeds 2-0 down after 25 minutes gets better every time you see it lol

That Mirror "journalist" should take a good look at himself and ask himself whether he's actually in the right profession.

That "report" is a complete collection of almost every cheap cliché you can find, mixed with obvious jealousy towards us.

I can't really detect if he's followed the game or just made it all up from bits and pieces found on other media platforms.

There is no red line in there, no cohesion, no effort. It's as cheap as the paper it is printed on.

Worst part of it is knowing that he's actually going to get paid for that.

Standards are low - just don't buy the Mirror. You'll sink even lower instantly.

Well its started, we`ve only played 1 game and the jealousies kicked in ,"trying to buy the league", heard it all before.

"It used to be a nice club", or something like that.............. Still is knob, apart from the fans are once again being heard, get used to it.

"poznan,be original lads", how many other clubs today have done it???? It worked for us, because your talking about us, and its pissing you off because our fans have bonded and will be turning a lot of stands over the season into a "bearpit"

LEICESTER ARE BACK........................................DEAL WITH IT

It's not just kicked in... it's been like this all summer :dunno:

I would suggest bigger rivals would be Sheffield,

Wow one win against relegation favourites Coventry who I hear are a club in turmoil, and poor, and you all get very excited.

Glad to see one of you still knows which league you should be in, league one as your main rivals are Sheffield. LMFAO :crylaugh:

I don't see why you think he was being complimentary. I saw it as more of a throwaway comment to somehow justify his constant moaning about us.

He's an odd fish when he comments on Leicester - I've said before he appears to hold some kind of grudge.

Quite right... He does seem odd in this respect.. I think he wants to slag Sven and the new regime off but actually cant bring himself to completely for fear of sounding sour..

In fvcking tears at that article. lol

Without doubt the most pathetic, deluded, jealous, awful piece of writing I've seen. So many faults, you'd think the writer was fvcking Andy Thorn himself on a wind-up.

what a complete tool that mirror journo is a tool ...nothing like being bitter eh?

the way he wrote about the fans made us sound like we went round laughing at everyone who didnt support because we've spent a lot on transfers, i mean jesus christ its exciting times for leicester fans at the minute and were constantly getting slagged off getting boring, that said I quite enjoy being the team everyone hates, it will be fun to see what everyone will be saying if we get promoted, "oh you only got promoted because you bought the league" bollocks if whoever this journo supports or any other club club for that matter were in our postion (good manager, large financial backing) i wouldnt see them complaining. They've just got to deal with it because at the end of the day, like fox ache said

LEICESTER ARE BACK AND HOPEFULLY BACK WITH AN ALMIGHTY BANG :scarf::chant::trumpet:

Cov fan in peace.

That was a much closer game than I was expecting to be honest. On that performance, I'd say play-offs is a reasonable expectation for you. It will be interesting to see how much your performances improve as the team gels. It was a game with good passing football from both sides, but neither team really created many chances. Neither Kasper or Murphy made any saves of note. The difference between the sides was you got a couple of good crosses in, which we didn't manage to do.

As for the red cards, Vassell's was a shocking tackle. I don't think it was malicious (don't see him as that kind of player), but it was high, late and out of control. Ours was less clear-cut, again it was out of control from Baker, but I didn't see it as a dangerous tackle like Vassell's was. Still it was a stupid tackle to make because we were well on top while it was 11 v 10 and Wellens was going nowhere with the ball. On another note, Wellens' play-acting was embarrassing. Absolutely furious with him, but as I say, Baker shouldn't have been even offering the chance for Wellens to do that.

Fernandes looks a class act for you, but as I say I think you still need someone to create chances.

Also, some of your players really need to be more disciplined. Mills, Fernandes and Wellens all lost their cool over nothing incidents. Even though at no point did they throw punches/ attempt headbutts, it only takes a referee to mis-interpret the situation and you'd have had a really stupid sending-off on your hands.

All in all, I've come away from that fairly optimistic. We had 2 academy kids playing who acquitted themselves extremely well against some very good players, but we do need someone to add some incisiveness.

Best of luck for the season ahead fellas.

A fair summary. I agree about the sending off’s : Vassell’s was more clear cut. We all know Fernandez was immense, but it was good to see the performances of Mills & Schmeicel – I can see they will be mainstays of team for many seasons. Anew striker is clearly needed – or at last give Waghorn a chance – I can’t see Vassell & Nugent scoring sufficient goals when playing together. !And I’ve a friend who is Burnley season ticket holder who says Nugent needs supply -he’s usually infective playing alone)

Considering we always looked in control, I’m surprised Coventry had more possession and considerably more shots at goal (BBC website). Particularly as speaking to a Cov sesaon ticket holder, he is pessimistic about the season ahead, although he thinks Eastwood should help when he returns from injury.

Conclusion: a good start but improvement needed to secure automatic promotion. (And tho’ the ref seemed to like the look of his yellow card towards the end, some might have booked Nugent, Danns in particular for throwing the ball away, arguing. So better discipline to avoid unnecessary bookings eg Gallacher)

...Nugent needs supply -he’s usually infective...

Is it something deadly and can he play when medicated... :dunno:

Decent first game. Some good performances. Fernandes sounds brill. Danns worked hard. Nugent did ok, possibly could have/should have scored. Schmeichel vocal and bossed his area. Back 4 were solid.

Good day at the office,

did you go? as you say fernandes sounds brill then you say about schmeichel and back 4 were solid ,

Certainly pleased with the win and certain aspects of our play..

Now we have to gel even more and really show what we "could" do, this division is going to be VERY tight.. A number of teams will fancy themselfs and every game is going to be tough as per usual in the NPC.. I feel we could well do something special this year but i am under no illusions, it's going to be hard and we will have some setbacks it's the character we show and how we deal with them which will see us good when them setbacks happen

bigger does not mean main.

Coventry are bigger rivals than, say, Middlesborough, but that doesn't make them our main rivals.

On the match, while it would have been nice to get a bigger win, to grind out a result like that, playing with 10 men in that kind of heat for near enough the whole match, is a very good start and something we lacked the ability to do last season.

It also bodes well for the fitness issue after the debacle this time last year.

lol

At least defenders won't want to get near him. Lump it up front and watch the opposition part like the red sea

Read what you just said again, it makes no sense whatsoever..
