shen Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Can't say I've ever been in favour of yellow/red cards that lead to sending's off unless it's for really serious/dangerous play, it spoils the competitive edge to most games and I tend to lose interest in it. When it's down to 9 it becomes somewhat of a farce. Not that being without Skrtel would harm Liverpools chances much. He's had an absolute 'mare... As for Adam, that knee-high studs showing tackle would warrant a straight red in my book
ScouseFox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 ScouseFox, do liverpool still claim that this season is their season? EVERY season. Players, fans and local press claim every year is "our year".
davieG Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Not that being without Skrtel would harm Liverpools chances much. He's had an absolute 'mare... As for Adam, that knee-high studs showing tackle would warrant a straight red in my book It wasn't a tackle as such the ball was loose and at that height he was just trying to get his foot on the ball it wasn't therefore an intentional tackle but the Spurs guy got there first, careless maybe and warranted a yellow. I still believe sending's off should be the absolute last resort and referees should be doing everything in terms of talking to players and teams to try to ensure it doesn't happen so many seem to relish giving out yellow cards. I don't think the Brighton player deserved to be sent off even though that's the rules. If we're going to have them then I'd like to see a sin bin of some sort. Just my belief in how the game should be played 11 v 11.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Manchester City play it Barcelona-style, closing down the opposition very early on. And their passing is sublime, Fulham hardly get a sniff at the ball.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 From the BBC website: [/url] He does realize that Liverpool are down to nine men, right?

MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 20 seconds into the second half and Agüero scores his second. It all looks so easy for Manchester City.
Matt Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Fulham 0 - 2 Man City. Aguero, straight from the second half restart, too easy.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 ... and Manchester United follow suit. Unbelievable. Both Manchester teams are stomping through the league. Smalling with the 1-0 from a Young free-kick.
ScouseFox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Cracking defending so far today from Liverpool and now Chelsea.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Ooh, Fulham pull one back. 1-2, Zamora.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 So that's how Kasper spends his Sunday afternoons - watching Manchester United alongside daddy Peter.
ScouseFox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Dad and lad offers at United clearly. Top save/miss from De Gea/Ramires.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Oh, look - Fulham have put on the pressure and get a deserved equalizer. Game on at Craven Cottage. 2-2, Murphy.
Matt Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Oh, look Fulham have put on the pressure and have equalized. Game on at Craven Cottage. 2-2, Murphy. Come on City, Don't do this to me, Got money on your cunts.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Fulham to score again for Arsenal to be in the relegation zone.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Oh my, Villas-Boas is in for quite a surprise. 3-0, Rooney. Who can stop the ManU train?
Matt Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Not happy City, not happy one bit! Fulham to score again for Arsenal to be in the relegation zone. Although, every cloud and all that
