Fox in the North Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 I'd 8-2 be an arsenal fan right now this!!!
MC Prussian Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 I'd 8-2 be an arsenal fan right now I just nicked this for my FB status.
Raw Dykes Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 This is turning into a ManU forum . . . Faggotts I hate Man U! I hate both Man Utd and Arse anal, but if one of them is going to beat the other one, it's nice to see one get a right royal raping. Maybe some Arse anal plastic fans might consider supporting their local side and stop being traitors. That'd be nice.
Guest shearfox Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Wenger needs to do this, buy some ****ing players that's right Merson
accessory Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 As dire as Arsenal were in defence, at times United weren't a lot better. Vidic and Ferdinand were badly missed and a team like Barca or Real Madrid would have put four or five past De Gea. But Rooney and Young were on fire. Let's hope they can continue that form in England shirts.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Wenger needs to do this, buy some ****ing players that's right Merson I think that the board are not letting his spend big on a player, he wants Cahill but only bidded £6m because board is only giving him that much, just my opinion
accessory Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 They've just sold Fabregas and Nasri for nearly £60m. And reaching the group stages of the Champions League has bagged them another £20m+ at least (more if they make the knock-out stages). Haggling over the odd million or two is ridiculous, especially when the Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Chelsea have already spent big to reinforce their squads. If Van Persie, arguably the only world-class player remaining at the Emirates, decides he wants to follow Nasri and Fabregas out the door, then Arsenal will be in deep trouble. Wenger can remain in denial as long as he likes. But Arsenal's decline is now obvious to all, and he no longer seems the person most able to reverse it.
Fox92 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Although I love Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger, he should have spent something now to compete with the quality of the other teams. In the future, that Chamberlain lad might be something, but I feel as if £12,000,000 (or whatever the price was) is very expensive, and that could have brought International/National quality which is something Arsenal need now to compete and win trophies. I felt sorry for Jenkenson as I thought he was ok but to exposed and the goalkeeper did actually make some good saves considering he conceded 8 goals. Arsenal do need something quick because that performance was woeful and as Merson said, other teams with lesser quality will visit Old Trafford and give Manchester United more of a run for 3 points.

Mikey Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 I think Walcott and Wilshere are world class.. Really? In the same category as Xavi and Messi then?
MC Prussian Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 I think Walcott and Wilshere are world class.. ... players in an otherwise mediocre team (in Arsenal terms). There's no one there to guide the team in times of misery, no leader on the pitch. The Arsenal of 2011/2012 consists of a lightweight midfield, a weak attack, no defense, an average goalkeeper. Two "world-class" players don't make a great team.

This is what I was thinking as I was watching today's Arse anal raping. That team was made up of very lightweight individuals with no cohesion. They were well and truly found out today. They were exposed. Losing Fabregas and Nasri has taken them beyond the tipping point quality-wise, and for a supposed "big club", their team did look truly mediocre. Maybe they do have players with bags of potential, but unless they make some major signings quick sharp, the team will do very well to finish mid-table, and those young players will not want to hang around for long. In essence, Arse-anal are a team with no spine.
sdb Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 I think Walcott and Wilshere are world class.. No way. Wilshere one day maybe. I guess it depends what you consider world class though. I'd only list 20-30 players.
Salieri Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Wow. Just seen the highlights. Man Utd were as fantastic as Arsenal were diabolical. Fair play to Ferguson in his post match interview, thought he was very gracious when he could have had a right old gloat.

VinceNoir Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/arsenal-thanks Decent gesture from Arsenal. I'm sure the fans would rather see a couple of signings though
Corky Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 I think Walcott and Wilshere are world class.. Walcott's nowhere near world-class.
StanSP Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 A girl on my Twitter just said 'Arsenal need to sign a defender'. She's not even joking, either. The award for stating the bleeding obvious has just been won for not only this year, but for millions of years to come.
Libertine Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 So the 25 man squads have to be in today, yes? Do we find out today or not?
ScouseFox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 United are scarily good. 0-3 after 25 minutes.
ScouseFox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Rooney averaging a goal every 15 minutes since his first v Arsenal. 5 goals in 75 minutes
ScouseFox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 0-5, Rooney x3, Chicharito x2. Still 25 minutes to play.
Libertine Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Unreal are United. Bolton's defence is poor but Utd are so dangerous.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 United are too good, they know each other so well! 5-0!!
MC Prussian Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Rooney's a beast this year and this United team does look scarily good sometimes. Apart from their close rivals in the same city, I can't see another team being able to challenge them. It would take a rather large slip-up on their own behalf.
