dannythefox Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Just a striker for me but if we to get another winger/midfielder Kebe is the only one I want unstoppable when going forward we couldn't stop him and he can finish. Very surprised Sven's not picked up we need someone like him. Or if he has he's done nothing about it.

In my opinion, a striker and quality right winger is what we needed over the summer and need now. We already have an attacking midfielder Michael Johnson although his fitness is not 100% yet I didn't think Johnson was the type of player to play attacking midfield? I thought he was just a central midfielder.
Matt Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Call me impatient, pessimistic, a hard task master, whatever, but I feel the stubborness of Sven not playing Dyer and at the moment not bringing in wingers, and a striker may be his downfall, even this early in the season. We seem to be failing on the striker front, every striker we are linked with just doesn't fancy us or we can't quite catch them for one reason or another, so much so we seem to be looking abit desperate now. I feel putting Dyer in will help, won't be the answer but would certainly help. But not playing Dyer and stuggling for a striker will not get us anywhere, I feel we need to win on Wednesday for certain, and only a draw or win, possibly only a win in some people's eyes will do on Saturday, If that doesn't happen the mounting pressure on Sven and the players will be unbearable. We saw last season that if it wasn't for those first 9 games we'd have certainly made the playoffs, maybe even higher, we can't just keep saying 'It's only 2 games'. These are my views on what fans reactions will be should these certain things happen over the next 2 games, I personally am not saying Sven should go, I'm saying other fans, overreacting fans will be, all I am saying is pressure is mounting and the struggle for a couple of winger and a striker, and the refusal to play Dyer may be Sven's downfall.
