tomtom Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I thought our support was shit to be honest, only 23k 1st home game after all the investment and hype
Dan Posted 16 August 2011 Author Posted 16 August 2011 I thought our support was shit to be honest, only 23k 1st home game after all the investment and hype We'll struggle to get 20k tomorrow IMO. Which is absolutely shocking, really.
leicesterisme Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 There support last season was quite good from what i remember, vocally anyway. It certainly was not, didn't hear them once throughout the game and that's no exaggeration.
ScouseFox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I didn't hear them last year because there was about 8 of them, but they looked like they were going for it, jumping around arms in the air etc. so I assume they were having a ball.
He's not bald Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Bet you'll hear them when Maynard completes his hat trick!
lestajigs Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 We'll struggle to get 20k tomorrow IMO. Which is absolutely shocking, really. Not shocking for the championship, BUT shocking for us
SemperEadem Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Yeah i reckon the attendence will be very poor tomorrow.
Corky Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Didn't Rovers bring over 2,500 when they visited? I can see a crowd of around 19k tomorrow.
Simmo86 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Crowd will be below 20k tomorrow, with Brizzles measly following not helping!
Jiggers the Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Trying my best to bump up the attendance after buying 7 tickets today for friends!
Jace Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 that is pretty shocking its not that far distance for a midweek game we are travelling from cornwall to watch the match which is another 2.5 hours west of bristrol and ive got work tomorrow and thursday
Guest Bilo Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Who knows, they might have an enormous sales spike today and this movie poster will seem very relevant.
Guest MattP Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 We'll struggle to get 20k tomorrow IMO. Which is absolutely shocking, really. With the pricing structure this club has it has to get used to it. To charge people £38 to come to Bristol City at home is absolutely scandalous.
Guest Bilo Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 In all fairness I do think the club should consider reintroducing the Pie and a Pint offer, this fixture drew in 28,000 last season on a Friday night in February.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Just got our tickets from the ticket office for tomorrows match, for my dad (45) my little brother (12) and me (19) they wanted close to £80. He then told the guy that he wanted a single ticket not a season ticket, the guy said that it was the right price, he then asked "is it Chelsea or f**king Bristol City who would are turning up". For a midweek game, those kind of costs will easily price a fan out of games.
Jace Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 last time i went to watch england play was £20 at wembley then again we did draw 0-0 to montenegro....
