Toffee_Fox Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Beckford - Due to who I am, I would have been found out 110% if I spoke about this, therefore I had to deny all knowledge, like my colleagues, it was top secret for the best part of 6 weeks Keane - Was basically a done deal, he agreed terms and was due for a medical, the club give clues to the press and every single paper ran with it on the same day, Galaxy came in late on, Leicester were rather annoyed Maynard - A deal was never agreed, said that all along, they agreed a price of £8.5million but Leicester were offering £4million up top believed, Bristol wanted around £6million, broke down over the structure Kebe - This was pretty much deal on yesterday morning, due to the fact Everton accepted a bid for Yakubu in the morning, Leicester had Kebe on stand by, Beckford trained with Everton yesterday and only got told of the deal being agreed at around 3pm Waghorn - Didn't want to go, said no to southampton, no to derby, hence the loan deal, was delayed for a while due to a injury Dave Nugent is carrying Stracqualursi - been on trial the past two weeks at Leicester, described as "beyond shocking", signed for Everton Bamba - was set to leave but no replacement to come in, hadn't been training and was left out of the cup game for a reason not just a "rest", a shaky start for Matt Mills had the staff in two minds over it Vincente - Big big interest, a lot of people highly doubted this due to the fact he was at Valencia, his wages weren't an issue, good friends with Poyet, signed for Brighton Jelavic - Was instead of Beckford, not as well, bid up to £8million, not for sale Masilela - Failed a medical, no such thing as Leicester going for someone else at the last minute, they came back with the option of a 3 month loan option and got told where to go, failed a medical at Forest too. No bids for Andy Johnson, Max Gradel, Dos Santos, Cameron Jerome, Le Fondre. Santa Cruz was allowed to speak to Leicester, but wasn't interested. Yakubu wanted to come, but felt unwanted, nothing to do with money but the fact Leicester were bidding for about 6 strikers at the same time. CMS, Never was a fee agreed, never was a medical Probably know who I am, was pointed here by someone due to stick I was getting but got good friends at Leicester, so have a little soft spot for the club. Confirmed who my source is with Babylon and what my job is, I can't post it on a public forum however, I'd be hung out to dry.
AmyLGK Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 "Bamba - was set to leave but no replacement to come in, hadn't been training and was left out of the cup game for a reason not just a "rest", a shaky start for Matt Mills had the staff in two minds over it" erm WHAT??? WHY? He's one of our best players! Is this thread a joke?
zubi Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Maynard - Refused to join Leicester after seeing so many threads and posts on various forums

AmyLGK Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Yes, its for the crack. Dont come over all sarcastic with me thank you! I find it hard to believe that we would even contemplate getting rid of Sol Bamba - that, to me, seems like a joke!
cc_star Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Dont come over all sarcastic with me thank you! I find it hard to believe that we would even contemplate getting rid of Sol Bamba - that, to me, seems like a joke! Why? It's only the fact that Mills & SSL have been weak to average that he's still in the team & not benched, as it happens he's improved a lot since the cardiac inducing play of last season
lcfc1983 Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Sol bamba is a mile off being r best player! CMS didn't join Leicester cos wen he went to the club for talks Sven didn't know who he was and knew nothing about him! Craig felt let down by that, went to Brighton who had bothered to do their homework on him, loved it there so signed straight away!!
Toffee_Fox Posted 2 September 2011 Author Posted 2 September 2011 You're full of shit. Okay. Sol bamba is a mile off being r best player! CMS didn't join Leicester cos wen he went to the club for talks Sven didn't know who he was and knew nothing about him! Craig felt let down by that, went to Brighton who had bothered to do their homework on him, loved it there so signed straight away!! Who said Sol Bamba was your best player? not me.
lcfc1983 Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Someone has replied to your post saying that he is 1 of r beat players!
One Arm Babba Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 The mob are fickle. Thanks for the info, all seems plausible enough to me. £8.5mil for Maynard is nuts, they must have been drinking some crazy cider.
pSinatra Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 All sounds perfectly plausible to me. I did initially find the Maynard 'deal' a bit surprising, but I think the club knew that Bristol were having our pants down & the extra payments would be made if he came good. I particularly like Stracqualursi being described as "beyond shocking". I look forward to seeing him play......maybe a couple of times & then never again. Why would anyone find the Bamba info so hard to believe? He's thinks he's Beckenbauer.....but he's not. For the money Blackburn were potentially offering, it has got to be worth considering?? Shame about Keane & Jelavic, but I don't think the club could have done any more than what they did. Thanks for the info

Y'know those things you say on League Show....well they are just hurtful. I didn't know it was a ruse to throw people of the scent so you could post the real info on FT! The Distinterested Hater....I like it
John Matrix Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 shame about yakubes if i see him i'll put my arm round his shoulder (if i can) and give him a noogie.
thybluefox Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Only one that confuses me is what you knew about Beckford, you knew about it for 6 weeks? Knew what? Can't think there'd have been much to know if Beckford himself didn't find out till Wednesday afternoon. I might be getting mixed up though of course. Ps. Who are you?
Toffee_Fox Posted 2 September 2011 Author Posted 2 September 2011 Bid was accepted this week, he knew it was going on all summer, 100% I got his boots on Wednesday, top class lad, very down to earth, shit at FIFA mind you! I'm not quite a referee, I thought the fact I've said I'm not a Leicester fan would give a way who I am haha.
