One Arm Babba Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 that was one of the worst halfs of football i've had to listen to. We seem devoid of any ideas. FFS. Sort it out. King > Gallagher No striker on the bench is a joke, Vassell needs subbing by the sounds of the Radio Leicester commentary
Babylon Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Better bottom now than in a months time Are you actually suggesting you think we'll be bottom in a months time?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Playing 4-3-3 apparantly, which is bewildering. We do well with 4-4-2 in the last 1.5 games yet when we change to 4-3-3 in the second half vs Soton and today we are shite. Not difficult to see which one suits us best.
lcfcsnow Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 So last seasons team minus before christmas and minus the last 10 games, so basically when it's winning and not when it's losing. From what I've seen I prefer a team of talented loanees than 15+ million spent on average Championship players. This one striker nonsense has ruined the season, it worked at times last season because opposition was scared of Yakubu. For all the money we've spent we don't have a player like that.
Guest Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 We need tunch back asap IMO aye yeah that div 1 star.
Petchy Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 I'm here at the ground, and any accusations that people are exaggerating how bad we are are entirely unfounded - we should be at least 2-0 down and the gap in quality is like that of a Premier League club versus non-league in the league cup. Absolutely AWFUL. Beckford with the touch of a serial rapist, Matt Mills embarrassing, formation as appropriate as Gary Glitter's behaviour towards youngsters. We should seriously be rethinking our hopes for this season UNLESS a VERY different team comes out for the 2nd half... Sounds like you have certain things on your mind... Something you want to tell us?
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Is it 4-4-2 or 4-3-3? I've only heard their radio and they haven't said much. its 4-3-3

I don't get it, the players were talking in the press about how 4-4-2 worked, someone said on here that Faz said it was 4-4-2 before kick off... so how and why are we playing 4-3-frigging 3. Mental.
leicesterseddon Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Is it 4-4-2 or 4-3-3? I've only heard their radio and they haven't said much. 4-3-3 I think. Although Gallagher is on, so we're effectively playing with 10 players.
cc_star Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Sven, the 11/12 version of Sousa... except for a fecking luck win against S'ton
lcfcsnow Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 King > Gallagher No striker on the bench is a joke, Vassell needs subbing by the sounds of the Radio Leicester commentary King offers nothing in this system, he's been a waste of space since Christmas and no complaints seeing him on the bench. Been saying it since last season he needs to up his game but I believe theres more to it.

Mental. I really dont think Sven has a clue tactics wise, alright when it comes to getting players in, but at choosing a system and formation he is dreadful. Not just with us, but in the past with England too. But could he really not see that 4-4-2 was so much better than 4-3-3? Its not even 4-3-3, its more like 4-5-1 as Beckford is getting FA support wise.
dirty fox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Picked the wrong day to quit smoking.... <_< Jebus Christ Sven, help me break the habit and play 4-4-fooking-2
tewkesbury-fox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Nice international break looking forward to the game....and ground-hog day all over again, this is exasperating !!!!!
Babylon Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 From what I've seen I prefer a team of talented loanees than 15+ million spent on average Championship players. If they are both capable of mid table chit performances I don't see why. And we haven't spent £15m, don't you read the papers. This one striker nonsense has ruined the season 5.5 games. You don't think that's a wee bit over the top?
easilee Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 We've been sussed early in the season. Any team who closes us down real quick does well against us.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Is it down to the fact that Leicester are a 'big' club in this league and one of the teams to best. Thus each and every team turns up and automatically ups their game against us. Is it a complacent attitude on our part that because of the expectation the players just think they'll breeze past the opposition...or are we just crap? Answers on a postcard
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Its half time... things can change for the better. I said in the pre-match amble this week that Barnsley are a funny side.. they can either be utterly shite at home or actually play very well. Unfortunately for us, today is the latter. NOW... its down to the Manager, and his players to turn this around...tactically and motivationally. We'll see if he/they can do it. I still think we'll win
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 King offers nothing in this system, he's been a waste of space since Christmas and no complaints seeing him on the bench. Been saying it since last season he needs to up his game but I believe theres more to it. And thats no true. Least King actually puts in a tackle and a header every now and again, as opposed to Gallagehr who shits himself every time he goes for a header and is generally too scared to put his foot in.
lcfcsnow Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 If they are both capable of mid table chit performances I don't see why. And we haven't spent £15m, don't you read the papers. Because the amount of money we're paying these average players scares me, at least the loanees were temporary and I enjoyed watched them much more than I do watching these.
