Sven clearly needed a couple of GOOD wingers in and instead decided to bring in about 5 centre mids.. WTF We've all said it... over and over and over again.... lets get Lloyd Dyer on at half time and start to counter-attack with some pace This sounds a VERY shite performance against a very poor Barnsley team... we can surely only get better?

It's absolute criminal of Sven to leave us with 1 option + Vassell who is never going to score goals. Apart from last week? I actually miss last seasons team. Yeah, we were bottom about now.

I'd like to think the closing of the transfer window will get Sven to sort the team out, but i expect a loan signing will be coming in to 'fix' things in a few days instead.
breadandcheese Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Our lack of width is letting Barnsley in far too easily, were loosing all the battles in midfield and Beckford is isolated, Vassell may as well sit down. Goal came from giving the ball away and Mills was caught In no mans land. If we're not winning the game in midfield, then our strikers are irrelevant as you say (although i do think we should always have a recognised striker on the bench so have no idea why Schlupp isn't named as a sub, especially after he got an assist against Southampton). Its frustrating because lack of width was a major problem last year and yet we've not brought in one winger to address the problem. Defensively, I'd like to hear from those at the game to see how poor it is and whether it's a lack of protection in front of the back four or a lack of organisation within the defence.

Funny how we can all see this but the one man with years of experience cannot... I do worry about what he is doing to this club. We need a manager with great motivational skills to get us out of this division, not one that just throws money at his problems and hope it pays off. It won't be long before the boo's start and if we lose today and do at home to Brighton the pressure will be VERY high!

Bad decisions, bad signings, good players shipped out. Its not working, the players are not motivated and are not responding to him. Already it looks like we are looking at fighting for 6th place, I have lost all confidence in Sven we are too far behind now to effectiveley chalenge. For ****'s sake, Barnsley are in the bottom 3 of this division. We were comprehensively beaten by a Reading team relieved of its better players at home. We can't defend for toffee and conceded 3 against Bury and Rotherham. In the games we have won, we have been poor and unconvincing and could have easily lost to Saints if it wasn't for Kasper. A less well known manager would do better with what team we have. Sven Out. I was going to write a sarcastic post listing all the stereotypical negatives that usually appear regardless of the score, I couldn't have written it better myself. Top draw fella!

Absolutely AWFUL. Beckford with the touch of a serial rapist, Matt Mills embarrassing, formation as appropriate as Gary Glitter's behaviour towards youngsters. We should seriously be rethinking our hopes for this season UNLESS a VERY different team comes out for the 2nd half...

We have some fantastic players, some perhaps prem standard players and they are being made to look like Sunday league players because of a demented manager.

It's embarrassing to be a Leicester supporter sometimes but NOT because of the team - because of the saddo fans.

This has been a common theme this season against weaker teams. The responsibility has to lie with Sven.
