swfc1955 Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 I know he was only with you for a very short period of time, but what did you think of him? Just curious. Thanks lads (and lasses).
Wymsey Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Negative tactician. Yourself? Seems it's been an topsy-tursy time so far with him at yours now..
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 He had a tattoo of Mandaric's bellend, on his bellend
swfc1955 Posted 18 September 2011 Author Posted 18 September 2011 Negative tactician. Yourself? Awful man. Awful manager. Made a career out of over exaggerating the difficulties he's faced as a manager. But its difficult to find some Owls that can see through his bullsh1t.

Corky Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Hated his style of football. His last game for us, at home to Sheffield United, we had one shot on target all night and another one wide. Against a side who were just as bad. Won a couple of cup matches at Forest and Villa, but barely anyone was sad to see him leave.
Narborough_fox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Shit manager. Remember one night against Sheffield United and we played with no striker and 5 at the back. Whole ground chanting Megson Out just about summed up our feeling towards him.
somebum Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 BTW SWFC, pray to God that Nigel Worthington isn't available when Megson gets the sack.
The Doctor Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Absolute twat. Negative tactics and epitomises the lack of loyalty in football - out of work for a year and a half, we give him a second chance in football and he scarpers at the first opportunity.
Jay Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Shit manager. Remember one night against Sheffield United and we played with no striker and 5 at the back. Whole ground chanting Megson Out just about summed up our feeling towards him. That game was a total disgrace, to send a team out at home against a team in a similar position with no intention at all of going forward or trying to snatch a win. I never ever want to see a Leicester team do that again
ajthefox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Shit, negative manager who is out for anything he can get.
MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Aah, Gary Megson, the 5-5-0 expert. Gone are the days of great football (played by the opposing team) at the then Walkers.
Donut Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Im not exaggerating when i say i think he is the worst manager in the football league pyramid. The guy is just the epitome of willy puller. Im sure he had managed to lose the dressing room after a month. Playing one up front (Collins bloody John to boot) back fives at home, making 3 substitutions and formation changes after half an hour, that was Megson. Every club he has been at, he has left under a cloud of mistrust and unease. I remember the Sheffield United game clearly, a woeful performance with our own fans singing ''Megson for Bolton''. I cant understand why a club would take him on........its a no win situation from the very start, hell never win anyone over because the whole of the footballing population thinks he is a cock.
Donut Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 BTW SWFC, pray to God that Nigel Worthington isn't available when Megson gets the sack. Wortho kept us up, and (until recently) had done a pretty good job of succeeding Lawrie Sanchez with Northern Ireland. Hes 10x the man Megson is
Guest Bilo Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 I'm genuinely at a loss to explain how he still gets jobs in football. The absolute epitome of negative anti-football in terms of his mentality. His teams make Stoke look fluid and free-flowing by comparison and he thinks loyalty is how the Chinese would describe the Queen and Prince Phillip. He did well at West Brom, but that was one heck of a long time ago. Bizarre he's employed when numerous better bosses can't get near a decent club.
Father Ted Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Anybody remember when he played Mark De Vries on the left wing and Carl Cort on the right wing - in the same match
ScouseFox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 GINGER MOURINHO! In reality, cvnt of a man, cvnt of a manager.
Corky Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 I'm sure Hux will say nice things about him too.
Happy Fox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Looks like new investment may come Wednesday's way if you believe twitter rumors http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/155843-twitter-here-we-go-again/

Happy Fox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 They could do with sacking him quickly then and getting someone else in pronto, before he has the chance to pi55 it up the wall! Do you know anything about this Max Keiser bloke , he seems to have some info on these investors, and what I have gathered from his tweets these investors are loaded.
BoneDog Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Keiser knows his onions. The chant that Stevenage fans sang at Megson was quality!
Happy Fox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Keiser knows his onions. The chant that Stevenage fans sang at Megson was quality! i.e he is reliable?
