Phube Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Can we just bloody score... We've gone from shipping at the back to not scoring up front... I love Leicester! Always exciting...
Grewks Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Your objective when you are one of the promotion favourites is to win the game, home or away. The ball is the same shape and the pitch pretty much the same size at every ground, you also get the same amount of points for a draw anywhere. The idea that it is harder to win away is based on mental weakness (sometimes from the ref as well as the players) As the vast majority (if not all) have better home records then surely all teams show sign of mental weakness, Well looks like ive got something to tell Fergie and Guordiola this weekend, cheers buddy. You sure it hasnt got anything to do with.. - More home fans (admittedly can work against a team, but can also spur the side on, e.g. stoke) - Used to the size and quality of pitch, Remember liverpool at havant and waterlooville No maybe your right
Grewks Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 king for the winner Naa mate we will throw it away last few seconds
Guest parky0607 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 king for the winner Ive got king anytime at 5/1
lcfcadam Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 A bad pass, followed by an equally bad pass. Then Danns slips over. I've only listened to 2 minutes of this but I guess I'm getting the general jist pretty quickly...
Phube Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Bamba's keeping us in it... according to Strings...
Grewks Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 at least were making everyone else look crap by dragging them down to our level, we need some flair going forward, like norwich. Schlupp, dyer, danns and ? up top! PACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 As Stringer says, a point away at Boro is not bad. 3 would be nice though.

But being affected by the home fans is mental weakness. I'm not saying it's not hard to overcome that but the point is you should prepare for every game in the same way, the only variables should be your team and the opposition. If you prepare differently because you are away (for example, planning to sit back) it could backfire. When you analyse it, it shouldn't make any difference whether you are home or away.
lcfcadam Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 JUST DON'T CONCEDE. Meh, does one point really constitute that much more of a success than zero points at this stage in the season? EDIT: As in it would be better to throw everything forward in pursuit of a winner than settle for a "well-earned" point...

Brooksy Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Meh, does one point really constitute that much more of a success than zero points at this stage in the season? It'll be great to keep the unbeaten run going though.
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Meh, does one point really constitute that much more of a success than zero points at this stage in the season? Yes. Unbeaten run continues and a rival doesn't gain 3 points on us in Middlesborough.
AndyNorway Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Mini heart attack times coming up. It`s always like this! :-|
