acooling08 Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 My link West Ham are interested in bringing Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez back to Upton Park.Football League rules allow him to sign for a Championship club on loan, even though the transfer window has closed. City manager Roberto Mancini said the 27-year-old refused to come on against Bayern Munich on Tuesday and will not feature for the Manchester club again. Tevez insists he has nothing to apologise for and believes his team-mates will back his version of events. Late on Thursday, a senior official at another of the Argentine's former clubs, Corinthians, told BBC Sport that the Brazilian side were "at the moment not thinking about" a loan move for the player. In July, Tevez came close to joining Corinthians before they pulled out of the move. City thought a £40m deal had been agreed after the striker told the Premier League outfit he wanted to return to South America, but he remained at Etihad Stadium. Tevez became a fans' favourite in his previous spell at Upton Park as he helped save the Hammers from relegation in 2006-07 before leaving for Manchester United. But his stay was also marked by controversy. In April 2007, West Ham were found guilty by a Premier League tribunal of acting improperly and withholding vital documentation over the ownership of Tevez and compatriot Javier Mascherano when they signed the duo in 2006. Earlier on Friday, West Ham completed a deal for Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia on a one-month emergency loan after Robert Green was ruled out for around six weeks. Please NO! He'll cost them a bit but surely will be getting a goal a game at least if he goes there.
m00nie Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 de ja vu... man city have already said no to west ham... because sven beat them to it....
Fox92 Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 Might he be tempted to go back? He most probably likes the club, and the fans love him.
gazfox9 Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I hope he goes there and has lumps kicked out of him! Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke!
Corky Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I can see the attraction of playing for Big Sam, possibly the greatest manager never to win a major trophy.
21st Century Fox Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 Rejected... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15130051.stm
Mack Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 Fat Sam had more chance of getting a whale up his arse.
Happy Fox Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 http://soccervoice.com/n111001.htm Rumours are that Carlos Tevez could be considering a move, just to play, and a return to West Ham have been in the news. A possible loan move to Upton Park could happen, but a certain Sven Goran Eriksson at Leicester City might also be interested, if Tevez is keen to play at a lower level.

Happy Fox Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Behave.... I thought Soccervoice was reliable, perhaps not
Tielemans63 Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 He'll prob be spending time promoting his range of Carlos Tevez's new lean, mean fat-reducing machines. "I'm so proud of it, I put my face on it!" (Poor taste?)
Happy Fox Posted 6 October 2011 Posted 6 October 2011 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-ham/8811559/West-Ham-United-still-keen-on-taking-Manchester-City-outcast-Carlos-Tevez-on-loan.html? Still one per cent is better than zero and initial emails from West Ham to Manchester City, and to Tévez’s adviser Kia Joorabchian, have been followed up with phone calls in the past few days. The bid had been dismissed by some as a stunt by the Championship club but there is real hope that once the investigation into Tévez’s alleged refusal to play against Bayern Munich is complete a move can be properly discussed. There is no immediate time frame for either the inquiry to be resolved – although that should happen next week — or a deal to be struck as the window to loan from Premier League to Championship does not close soon. Tévez has returned to Argentina, with City’s blessing, while he serves his two-week suspension and waits to see what happens with the inquiry findings. He has agreed to return within 24 hours notice. The saga is mired in legal issues, of course, with City considering imposing a fine of six weeks’ wages — amounting to more than £1.2 million — and Tévez also keeping his options open as to what his response could be. It’s highly unlikely he will be sacked for breach of contract but highly likely that City will seek to sell him in January for a cut-price £20 million if a buyer can be found. A return to Brazil, to rejoin Corinthians, would appeal of course, given the interest in the summer, but what do City do with Tévez until the end of this year given the emphatic statement that he will never play for the club again made by manager Roberto Mancini? Never say never, but there can surely be no way back for both parties. Should the investigation go against him City may decide sending Tévez out on loan is not a punishment while West Ham will want nearly all of the player’s wages covered by his present employer. A deal does seem unlikely but, for sporting reasons, it might be the best option for Tévez. A dialogue is ongoing.
goose2010 Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 doncaster have put a bid in for him apprently - anyone know where their money is coming from??
The Doctor Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 I thought it was still John Ryan and his plastic surgery - clearly more people in Donny are becoming vain and want massive cans/liposuction.
Petchy Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 doncaster have put a bid in for him apprently - anyone know where their money is coming from?? I would like to know this too, or is all just for publicity as they've been linked with Diarra too!
Fox92 Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 doncaster have put a bid in for him apprently - anyone know where their money is coming from?? I think Doncaster Rovers are co-owned. I know John Ryan, the owners, has a fair amount of money - he was on the news the other month saying he wants to build Doncaster a train museum like York have. But, the other investor of Doncaster is the same person who owns Celtic, and he is one of the richest owners in the game according to the recently published rich list (I can't remember what position within the top ten off the top of my head, but he is listed as one of the richest owners in football - above our owners who didn't make the list). This is in addition to Dean Saunders, who will most probably have alot of contacts in the game.
