I hope he doesn't change a winning side (thought Danns played really well) but I can't see him leaving Becks on the bench and he don't never drop Darius.

We really need a player who isnt afraid of putting in a tackle, who can win headers, will put his head in where it hurts and will actually score us some goals. Get him back in. and here's me thinking I'm the only one who sees him as a weed I think we should drop the goal scorers and the best players(remember Vitor).

shiv Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 If the Birmingham game was this weekend then I'd expect to see the same team. As there's the international break it makes it a bit more difficult. Personally if nobody gets injured I would keep the same team but I think Sven will make a couple of changes.

If Sven does that, which wouldn't even surprise me, then he'll be back in question for me if we lose, it's simply not working for us and the current side/formation is, one of his main issues since being here is his absolute reluctance to drop certain players (mainly Vassell IMO) regardless, and put a team out with a weaker formation just to accommodate them. If he does this, it'll just be another sign of not learning.

His attitude since arriving has been appalling and he's got a major big-time charlie mentality, then again, we all expected that. He'll bang in the goals but if he walks back into the team after being shite and a game without him where we displayed immense attacking play, then what message will it send to him? "Oh, I was shit, I can keep being shit, I'll get picked anyway". Beckford shouldn't play in the next game and I think although I'm not a massive fan of Vassell, he doesn't deserve dropping.

He's gonna give Sven a problem IMO.
