You'd better dream on man, Martin told a good friend of mine some time ago that he has good memories of LCFC but you can never go back. take from that what you will but save your money is my advice the bookie will be the only winner!

Nailed on mate .........trust me !!

is 'You'd better dream on man' a catch phrase of yours?

How did you work that one out!!!!

You are truly an intelligent being if I may say so.

The 15 people booing Top are probably the same ones that boo the team.

Getting us into or play in the premiership! we are simply not good enough....or are we? (I personally haven't seen any evidence yet)

It took Mancini 3 years with all his millions to spend to be the best in the premiership, these owners are simply expecting to much too quick, sorry but that is reality.

I cant believe im writing all this myself as I bleed blue, but this has really pissed me off.

Neither can I cuz this ain't the Prem this is a very mediocre champoinship we are looking at!

you prat if king power pull out because the fans we are up the creek with no paddle and lcfc will be no more. get behind them because sven had the money and we are lying in 13th place 2 points off the playoffs. with the amount of money he spent we should have been like qpr last season not 13th

You just said it mate. We are just two points off the play-offs, thanks to Sven The knife in the back , will await the next poor sod who takes over. Kiss goodbye now, to any hopes of promotion this season.

I'd done that by half time on Saturday

Here, here.

Without us the fans these rich gits would be worth nothing no bums on seats then their wealth diminishes quickly with the cost of a football club, make no mistake!

Most of all though I have spent lots of money over the years on my season tickets with this club has have many thousands of others only to have wealthy people come along with their millions and sack managers because they yes they are not heading for rich pickings quickly enough. Make no mistake that these Thai owners have no interests in me, you or any other fan out there but only for their own wealth and Sven has been sacked because we are not looking secure enough (in their opinion) in the promotion spots, meaning millions of pounds in their bank.

Unfortunately we are also about to see the departure of some of the very players Sven brought to us because without him they will not want to stay here.

Good luck to Sven wherever he goes.

I am fed up of watching LCFC over the years start to settle down and only to be put into turmoil by impatient owners, vote with your feet on the next home fixture STAY AWAY AND LET THE THAI;s WATCH THE MATCH ON THEIR OWN. Then and only then they might get the message.

We the fans together are much bigger than them and we should do all we can to this message to them I feel so strongly over this that sadly I may even cancel my direct debit on my season ticket.

Utter sh!te.

Without us fans these rich gits would be worth nothing? Er, they were worth hundreds of millions of pounds before they came here and will be long after they leave. If no-one turns up they'll simply sell it to another impatient owner and we can start all over again.

They have no interest in you me or any other fan? True of every owner in the league right now and probably true of all the previous chairmen we've had. I'll guarantee you that the likes of Shipman, George and the rest of the owners who wringed every penny from this club couldn't give a toss either. To quote a former director who spoke to me a few years back "Oh, you prefer watching from the Kop Stand do you? I've never seen the appeal of all that noise, chanting and raucousness that goes on in there".

Sven's been sacked because we're not looking secure enough? Yes, and? We finished last season with something like 4 wins in our last 15 and have started this one with 5 wins in 13 and are essentially now 14th. After spending 15 million quid in 13 months we're about 5 places better off than when he took over. Whatever the points involved, we're nowhere near play off candidates and the top two is a mile off. We've had a handful of good performances and some shockingly inept ones. We're not secure for anything because we're so bloody inconsistent.

About to see the deaprture of some players because Sven's gone....Good. If they're only here to play for him not the club then they can fvck off. Part of the problem, tactics aside, is the lack of passion and enthusiasm these players have shown for getting out there and showing a drive to win matches. Being here for the manager not the people who pay your wages is just wrong.

Turmoil? FFS, please do one. What are they supposed to do wait till November, December when we're even further adrift and risk a repeat of last season when we had to much ground to make up? They've spent the money on the players, the stadium, the training ground, everything. To make money - which is what all owners try to do - they need the Premiership and if the results aren't looking like bringing that, it's their responsibility to make a change. Changing a manager isn't turmoil, they've got their man lined up and I doubt we'll be without a boss for longer than a week.

Get the message to them? What message? You own the club but you're not allowed to make a decision about how it's run?

I said 13 months ago, he's a joke manager and it will end badly. Time to get someone with proven Championship quality in and get our inconsistent millionaires playing a simple formation with width and attacking options. Enough crying about Eriksson. He may have steadied the ship last season but he's proved in the last 7 or 8 months he hasn't got the nous at this level to take it further.

...and SEVEN places.... (which will become eight if Birmingham win the first of their games in hand, at home to Leeds on Wednesday).

13th/14th place is no badge of honour. We're not Coventry or Forest.

His record has been appalling for ages, people don't get it or they're happy with winning approx 1/3rd of games since our Feb run ended when teams realised if they put a tackle in or are organised we're powerless to do anything.

many of us may disagree with Sven being sacked but the last thing the club needs is the fans to turn the back on the owners and boo Top right now

players get booed when they make bad decisions and play bad so why not the owners?

Posted

If fans turn against the owners, then we have the worst fans created. They have been nothing but good for this club and most other teams fans I speak to, would love this lot at their club especially forest and brum fans. How can sven go from a manager that people didn't want, won people around, people started turning again and now he's gone he is god. Move on, the owners are far better than sven or most other owners for that fact.

why should we take notice of somebody that talks to Forest scum

Wish some heartless bastard would sack me and hand me a million quid ! Honestly why the fvck is anyone feeling sorry for Erickson? get a bloody grip on reality . No one has stabbed him or mugged him or shouted waaaah you shit ! at him. What is wrong with you people ? He has become a millionaire out of being mediocre at best for us and guess what that was and will come out of your money through the turnstiles. If someone gave me a million quid kiss off I too would be crying but not for the same reason as that failure. :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh:

Its being run using KingPower, a form of marketing if you like. Vichai is CEO of KP so wouldn't have the company included in his personal wealth, making that irrelevant. The way the clubs owned they would likely be liable for any problems occur so could jeopardise their future aswell as ours.

Wish people would get out of svens arse and stick with the owners. They wouldnt spend the money on the training ground if they werent commited and able. Move on people, if we end up promoted at the end of the season , I hope to see none of you celebrating but still crying over your whiskey cos svennis wasnt there to see it. Its ludicrous that some will give up if it isnt O'Neill

" if we end up promoted at the end of the season ," I feel the if in that statement should now be in capitals, dont look at the league position look at the points column and we are still very much promotion contenders, but will we still be with a new manager? if we get Mclaren i dont think so.

For gods sake this is pathetic, booing the owners and all these ridiculous posts

People were happy with mediocrity, happy to take 2 wins from every 6 games, happy to show no ambition away from home

The owners who plow millions into the club dont want all this crap they want to go up, and you BOO them and SUPPORT the man who as giving you mediocrity, boredom and failure

What planet are half of you lot on.

Bum him all the way to the airport. Go on, quote me and slag me off, i dont care. Your mindsets are fvcked.

"What planet are half of you lot on." the same as you but luckily we all have our own opinions and a lot of them thankfully differ from yours

Some people need a reality check, shedding tears for Sven.

Get a fcuking grip!

He's had more clubs than most have had women and he was probably only shedding tears cos he didnt get enough compensation!!!

Honestly,he may be a decent bloke and all that but he knew the score so fair doos!

Really, because the only poster I've seen have a go at Top is DT - and history has told us he's a pretty massive **** and just posts for a reaction.

I've got a certain deal of respect for the chaps in charge, they've done more right than wrong but, just as the Sven-haters were fine to critise him, so should those not happy with this be allowed to critise Top and co.

Best and most sensible reply i have read IMO

We have a Sven appreciation thread, we have people crying over Sven's departure, we have people saying the Thai's have ''lost credibility''

Lets get a sense of perspective. Were in the bottom half of the championship, playing poorly, and not looking AT ALL like threatening the playoffs, let alone automatic promotion.

So would you see this outpouring of emotion for any other manager? for a NORMAL manager?

The Thais want to get promoted. Theyll stop at nothing to get promoted. THEYRE AMBITIOUS, unlike the man theyve just relieved ofhis duties. It drives me nuts this small time mentality of our fans, who'd rather gloat about having an Ex England manager in charge than actually get some fvcking results in the league

What the fvck you on about? we are only a couple of points off the play off's and it aint even xmas DERR

Sven is a nice guy. Top is an idiot.

WOW!!!

What a statement!

Hopefully you know them both well enouh to make that judgement?

If not,jog off!!

So who says it was a bad decision? I would say it was the right and only decision given his track record since being our manager. If there was a bad decision made by the owners it was employing him in the first place.

What planet are you on, we've only won approximately 1/3rd of our games over the past 8 months, given that he's the most heavily backed manager in our history & probably in the 2nd tier ever, is he doing his job or even close to doing it.

He is mediocrity personified & it shows in 2/3rds of the performances.

So Sven's a nice guy? I don't recall anyone saying that about any successful manager ever?

For the record I think he should have been here to the summer, not out of loyalty to Sven, but what chance has someone got with another manager's (completely inflexible) squad. The 1 thing they probably have is loyalty to the manager & now that's gone.

We're going to need a stellar appointment to go up & unless we've already snatches them, I'd have stuck with Sven.

I booed the players on Saturday and they absolutely deserved it that day.

They even deserve it more, knowing now that certain elements within the squad actively aided in getting the manager sacked.

Sacking the manager is always the easiest option - but it wasn't simply him who was at fault. Players as well have to take a good look at themselves and ask some really important questions about their own commitment.

And as for your "burn him all the way to the airport", it just cements the hypocrisy and prejudices by the Eriksson-haters which has been evident ever since he took charge.

You sir, are the one who is fvcked.
