Goosefatmonkey Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 All eyes on the directors box today. We've had enough of this waiting game now. Let's hope the wait was worth it and the board have made the correct decision . I just hope its not Roy Keane otherwise Leeds and all the other clubs will be laughing at us. Today's prediction 1-0 win Gallagher penalty. COME ON let's make this a real super Sunday
He's not bald Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Doubt we'll find out today, there is a whole 2 weeks before the next match and they don't appear to be in any rush to announce it!
roblcfc84 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Just spoke to my dad who knows birch a bit. He saw him in the pub in rothley last night.. Said he wouldn't give anything away but suggested it would be today we find out. My dad also said although he wouldn't say anything when they quizzed him about the manager, judging by his reaction it's Pearson.

roblcfc84 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Like I say my dad he was giving nothing away so could not be. If we are paying decent compensation we may have requested that we have the reveal. Not sure how it works.
HEGGSY Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 So for all we know it could be MON. Oh happy fox, how I admire your optimism
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 This might be way off the mark, probably is, but I wonder whether the Thais may give it to Stowell/Rudkin till the end of the season? Big names? No of course not... But may stabilise things until a big name comes in over the summer?
Fox-in-cov Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Doubt it today just got to hope for the 3 points, Then we wait I expect mid week let the boss get to know his players, have we had many called up for this weeks internationals?
Cecchini1976 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If its like recent int breaks, all players get a week off. Hopefully that was just Svens rules. Can't understand why, they should be on the training ground for me, maybe have a couple of days max
paulsherwood1 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I don`t think it would be right to give it to Stowell and Rudkin until the end of the season, what would that achieve?? We need stability. They have done a sterling job as caretakers, and that is that. I seriously doubt that a new manager would be introduced before a big match, its football not showbiz. The interesting thing about this whole recruitment process is the amazing wall of silence up around the club. The Thai`s have kept incredible integrity in a world where most football people cant even spell the word!!! Thats what has made the whole thing more intruiging, and frustrating for the bookies, who have 4 or 5 managers at 3-1 or under. Only Lee Clark has ruled himself out, leaving the world of rumour and gossip alive with anyone from MON to Ancelloti! It will all be revealed in due course.... My bet......... Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes Good post Paul, Hughes would be my choice too The debate on here has been about whether the Thais actually are very 'hush hush' or conversely whether they actually don't know who they want or have made approaches and been knocked back.. Thus the saga goes on.. However, I don't agree with you on Stowell/Rudkin not taking over till the end of the season. This actually would give us some stability whilst we publically announce which fella is gonna take over in the summer. In this way, Stowell/Rudkin would know what was happening, the players would know what was happening and so too the fans. Don't get me wrong, I'd like Mark Hughes/ MON or Big Nige now, but wouldn't be too phased if it was announced that the summer was going to be when the change is made, and with whom.
FrankieADZ Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 yeah its gonna be David Pleat as Director of Football with Steve Mclaren as Manager <_<
Adster Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 So for all we know it could be MON. You're going to be so disappointed when it turns out to be anyone other than MON
Leicesterpool Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I just wonder what would be the reaction if Mon came out of the tunnel?, Also what would be the reaction if Keane came out the tunnel?
Happy Fox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 You're going to be so disappointed when it turns out to be anyone other than MON Wouldn't you be, every fan would be he is the best man we could hope for.
He's not bald Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I just wonder what would be the reaction if Mon came out of the tunnel?, Also what would be the reaction if Keane came out the tunnel? If he does they'll be a ST in the canal if anybody wants it!
paulsherwood1 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If Keane comes out of the Tunnel I hope its to get ON the helicopter that delivers the match ball and disappears never to be seen again! EVER!
dpjfox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 fact: 1st choice must be Pearson (SSN - we have had permission to speak to NP refused), now balls in his court
steveherbe Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Two hopes.. And Bob's dead Apparently not, can be seen in Emmerdale every weekday evening at 7pm....... coat on.
Corky Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I just wonder what would be the reaction if Mon came out of the tunnel?, Also what would be the reaction if Keane came out the tunnel? I'd love it. I'd love it. I'm not fickle or demanding, anyone will do.
