Larry_LCFC Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Thought he had a cracking game today. Shame.
Guest ttfn Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Looked like today's booking was for having a go at the ref. Again. He's been our best player this season, but he needs to learn to keep his gob shut.
Number 6 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Oh crap. Shining beacon of light at the moment. The way he gets himself out of trouble is a joy to behold. He bosses the strikers and really attacks the ball. Is tunch back?
Kitchandro Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Looked like today's booking was for having a go at the ref. Again. He's been our best player this season, but he needs to learn to keep his gob shut. Agreed.

Guest Col city fan Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Bamba was a beast today. I still wonder whether a defensive midfielder is more his position though. He's actually got the power to burst through the middle and is massIvely keen to do so.. Bamba playing off the back four... Why not?

We'd be seriously shit at the back then though. No doubt Pearson will try to bring Hobbs with him though!
Dan the fox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Bamba was class ,just need 10 more of him !!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 One problem with the Bamba-as-a-central-midfielder theory - he can't pass.
lcfcsnow Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Pearson won't like him anyway, he's too extravagant for him and he'll be gone come January.
The Doctor Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If NP is here, Tunch could be recalled! He doesn't need to be recalled - the loan spell has finished.
Guest ttfn Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 One problem with the Bamba-as-a-central-midfielder theory - he can't pass. I disagree. I think his distribution's pretty decent, particularly for a centre back. Certainly something which can be refined by some focus on the training ground. As I say, I'd like to see it given a go, but only in preference to Wellens-King. My personal preference would probably be Fernandes and King.
Adster Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Tunch is already back. He was sat with the academy lot for today's game in his Leicester track suit.
dannythefox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Great player needs to keep him mouth shut though 2 of them cards was for over reacting!

He's been our best player this season, but he needs to learn to keep his gob shut. It cud av bin for kicking the ball at the ref, which nearly hit him cus the ref was pulling out his card just before Bamba spoke out. He did av a gud game today though, apart from the one cock-up in the second half.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 One problem with the Bamba-as-a-central-midfielder theory - he can't pass. He would fit right in then.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Bamba was a beast today. I still wonder whether a defensive midfielder is more his position though. He's actually got the power to burst through the middle and is massIvely keen to do so.. Bamba playing off the back four... Why not? Because he's been our best player this season by a country mile and I think you'd be hard pushed to find a better centre back in the league. The guy is top class and if it ain't broke you don't fix it. What would be the sense in taking someone out of the position in which they have been absolutely brilliant and putting them elsewhere?! I hate this whole "maybe he'd be better as a..." argument. By the time a player makes it in the game they've had enough coaching and experience to know where their best position is. And those that do the coaching are best placed to do the judging. One problem with the Bamba-as-a-central-midfielder theory - he can't pass. Completely disagree. Bamba's got so much quality and confidence on the ball. If you're looking for the one that can't pass in the centre of our defence then look to Mr Mills on that one...
Jimmy Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Tunchev is still the best defender we have, now he's back this is the perfect excuse to put him back into the team
FoxesFan123 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 St Ledger will come in and Pantsil onto the bench (remember Peltier can play CB, as can Ball). I don't think there will be any drastic changes (Tunchev in from the cold)
Corky Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I've been thinking about Bamba in midfield for a while- he doesn't lose the ball easily and there's another line to get through if he does. He can pass it too, but he's been strong defensively and I'm not sure about St Ledger. Tunchev to come in.
