So why no announcement of Pearson?

Some say he can kill a rat stone dead with his stare, and that pigeons and grey squirrels fall lifeless from trees as he walks underneath as fox's walk side by side with him and sleep at his feet.

All we know is, he's called the Nige.

They seek him here, they seek him there,

Those Foxes seek him everywhere,

Is he in heaven, or is he in Hull?

All I know is life ain't dull.

Will he come or will he stay,

We'll have to wait another day! :dunno:

Why has he been blocked?

for obvious reasons they thought I was on the wind up....cant blame them really, Im new to your forum and passing on info.....I'd be suspicous.

Spoke to one of your mods though and he was happy enough to unblock me

The Pearson to #lcfc move looks to be heading towards a positive conclusion for Leicester. A deal's being worked on now, both parties keen

Who said they wouldn't be working this weekend.

So the likely hood is that they will announce Pearson's replacement shortly after saying he's gone to Leicester, I'm betting just like I said previously this is not solely about money it's also about delaying us from having Pearson before they are well down the line to recruiting a replacement thus neutralising any advantage we may have got over them in the manager availability stakes.

@John_Percy Nigel Pearson's move back to #LCFC should happen early next week. Warren Joyce the leading contender to replace him at #hcafc

Wow there's almost as many posters on here ITK than HGAFC makes you wonder why we need a forum at all :crylaugh:

Since i've been on here the only ones to provide any decent (reliable) info are (and were) Knowitall, Bert, this new guy from Bristol and brfc is it? (Gallys father in law I think).

The other runners and riders seem to just scour the net to gather info then just regurgitate it (right or wrong) on here.

I am generally looking forward to this appointment, yes he may not be the most high profile manager in the world, but in this division you need hard grafting every week and Sven for all his major honours wasn't able to conquer this division, Pearson knows what is required and he will get us playing to our strengths welcome home NP you have been sorely missed.

Nigel Pearson is set to be installed as Leicester City’s new manager inside the next 48 hours.

The Foxes swoop for Hull’s manager hit the buffers last week because of a row over compensation between the two Championship rivals.

But talks have re-opened over the weekend, paving the way for Pearson, 49, to finally seal his return to the King Power Stadium after 17 months in Hull.

Disappointed Tigers chairman Assam Allam had demanded £1.2million in compensation for losing his manager, who still has 19 months left on his deal with the Humberside club.

But now the two parties have agreed a smaller sum, leaving Pearson free to take up a double-your-money deal with his former club.

Looks like our negotiating skills worked a treat
