I liked Hobbs as defender though got exposed at Man City last year.

Not good enough for us then! Maybe he should sign for Man United would fit in well there?

Interesting how every phrase gets picked upon without context. I said I liked Hobbs as a defender but was making the point that he is not defensively perfect. I coud have qouted other moments but his attempted tackle on Tevez was anything but vintage. Did you see him get twisted inside out for the West Ham first goal?

My biggest problem with Hobbs was his miserable attempts at becoming a footballing centre half. He trod on it, fell over it and manaaged anything but an effective pass.

Funnily enough, I saw his full debut for us in League One and reported on here what a fine prospect he was. Still think he's a good player but I rate Bamba, Mills and Tunchev higher. But thgen football is all about differing opinions

He would be a leap backwards. We have: Nugent, Beckford, Vassel and Schlupp who all I would say are better than him. Howard is about the same level as him IMO

Step backwards.

I'll never forget the memories of recent years he gave me though, Penno at Southend away, Winner at Villa in the cup .. DU DU DU DU

There is no way you can say Schlupp is better than Fryatt at this stage. Vassell is debatable as they are completely different players and unfortunately Howard's past it.

Beckford and Fryatt had a similar goal record in league one, and JB's hardly set the world alight in his Championship appearances to date.

I really liked Fryatt when he was here, and I think he was and is massively underappreciated by a lot of our fans. But I wouldn't take him back because I think we can do better not because we have better.

You're quite right Dave... On many occasions..

Never good enough for the championship Fryatt

Let him stay where he is

I would be surprised if he came back to Leicester but in my view a fully fit fryatt is a bloody good championship player he will always score goals. Personally I would love Becchio from Leeds seen as he's struggling to get a start at these days.

I'd love him back personally, like Pearson, I think he has something to prove.

Never want tht c*nt near are side (Becchio) ! The bloke would rather dive on the floor than score a bloody goal !!

128 championship appearances, 36 goals- goals ratio of 28%- making him to score a goal every 3.5 matches!

So he's pretty much like Andy King, who is a midfielder.

We don't need him back.
