MikeyT Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Confirmed team is: Schmeichel, Pelts, St. Ledger, Mills, Konchesky, Dyer, Wellens, King, Gally, Nugent, Beckford. Subs: Weale, Bamba, Fernandes, Danns, Howard. Oh some random stats from the Pompey website. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/home/Stat-Attack-Pompey-v-Leicester-2835.aspx
Callabinho Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 How come pompy have a different web layout to everyone else?
MikeyT Posted 26 November 2011 Author Posted 26 November 2011 How come pompy have a different web layout to everyone else? I don't like it. Much prefer the other design and layout.
MikeyT Posted 26 November 2011 Author Posted 26 November 2011 Pompey team for those interested. Pompey: Henderson; Halford, Rocha, Pearce, Mattock; Mullins, Norris ©, Thorne; Ward, Kitson, Huseklepp Subs: Ashdown, Ben Haim, Mokoena, Benjani, Kanu
cc_star Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 How come pompy have a different web layout to everyone else? They're obiously not signed up to the blanket coverage of the PremiumTV deal Wish we weren't to be honest, wonder if the Thai's will want to do their own thing?
EnderbyFox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Pompey team for those interested. Pompey: Henderson; Halford, Rocha, Pearce, Mattock; Mullins, Norris ©, Thorne; Ward, Kitson, Huseklepp Subs: Ashdown, Ben Haim, Mokoena, Benjani, Kanu Yay, no Lawrence. Pompey's bench is so old!
ousefox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Ben Haim and Benjani have had a bit of a come down, not even getting in the pompey team!
lcfc_sam_p Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Looking at their squad and looking at ours we should win this. 0-3. Nugent, beckford, mattock (o.g)
Happy Fox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 It will be a tough game Pompey will just keep all there players and congest them in the middle of the park making it tough to break them down imo, giving the ball to Pelts and Konchesky is vital today can see us winning this
80footgiraffe Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 `When will panstil be given the game time? I really want to see him play some more! I think he's great and should have at least made the bench for today. Unhappy about that

I think he's great and should have at least made the bench for today. Unhappy about that When Peltier is injured. He has shown he is not as good as Peltier, and there's no reason why he should be above him. Difficult to pick the 5 on the bench too with such a big squad.

I think he's great and should have at least made the bench for today. Unhappy about that Peltier is much better and I'd feel far more comfortable with him starting than Pantsil.
Jordan Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Ben Haim and Benjani have had a bit of a come down, not even getting in the pompey team! How Benjani managed to last in the Premier League as long as he did is beyond me. I'd say he's just about found his level riding the bench for a struggling Championship side. I love how Nwankwo Kanu is still kicking along. I was just looking through his career stats and thought to myself, "Well, he's only 35..." Then realized: Only 35?! I must be starting to get old myself.
psychonaut Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Dyer in the starting line-up... Damn we need some wingers
Webbo Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Bamba dropped! Interesting... Nobody deserved to be dropped after last week. Bamba's on the bench at least.
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Bugger! Four rows from the front just to the left of the left post. Anything that misses is bound to smash my specs
nuttytimmy Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 No Schlupp on the bench? With only five to pick from, somebody is always going to have to make way. I've no issue with a striker being dropped from the bench in favour of a defender, for an away game at least.
dave the caveman Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 I've no issue with a striker being dropped from the bench in favour of a defender, for an away game at least. Nigel will be breathing a sigh of relief
