FuriousFox46 Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 This is the third debate, I've had with my best friend. Following on from the frozen toast/headphone belt and chewing bottle top/wooden stick polls. Both of which I won. Anyway, which name sounds more like a celebrity?
lcfcadam Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Currall is the sort of name where pronunciation is slightly tricky, it's not obvious where the emphasis should be. Therefore the first one is better. Also you and your mate are weird.
Corky Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Sam Currall sounds like a singer. Chris Whiting is MP/ headteacher like.
StanSP Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Sam Currall. Sorry Chris. Sam Currall has similar sounds to Alex Curran. That was the main basis for my choice, even though you didn't ask .
Kitchandro Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Chris Whiting sounds like he's over 50. Potential MP as mentioned above. He sounds pretty boring. Sam Currall sounds like a short guy. Not a midget, but maybe a jockey. Possibly one of those little turds who just annoys the crap out of everyone like Bieber. Neither sound like real names though. They sound like character names, like off CSI. That would be a good episode, an MP murders a Jockey. Or vice versa. I'd definitely watch that one. I'd be interested to know the motive that the Jockey would have for murdering the MP. Something to do with the new whip rules?
I am Rod Hull Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 This is the third debate, I've had with my best friend. Following on from the frozen toast/headphone belt and chewing bottle top/wooden stick polls. Both of which I won. Anyway, which name sounds more like a celebrity?
Langston Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 I've got a great celebrity name generator - I call it 'my brain.' Donny Lennox. There you go.
The Doctor Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 What makes a name a "celebrity name"? But out of respect to the current season, you should swap first names and the bloke with the surname Currall should change his middle name to Muz.
Rincewind Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Try a letter as a middle name Chris P. Whitting Sam F. Currall
FuriousFox46 Posted 12 December 2011 Author Posted 12 December 2011 Whiting is spelled with one 't' But thanks everyone! I know we're a bit odd. and I'm not supposed to say my name because apparently you'll be biased towards my friend as he is not a Leicester fan!
FuriousFox46 Posted 12 December 2011 Author Posted 12 December 2011 Roy Whiting can get you in the papers. Nasty!!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Sam Currall sounds too much like Steve Carell. So it's Crick for me.
FuriousFox46 Posted 12 December 2011 Author Posted 12 December 2011 I'm taking it that Chris Whiting wins then.
