ajthefox Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4007696/Scott-Dann-suffers-ruptured-testicle.html?OTC-RSS&ATTR=Football BLACKBURN'S survival hopes have been hit by an eye-watering injury to key defender Scott Dann. The ex-Birmingham centre-back scored his first Rovers goal on Saturday but over-stretched and ruptured his rightTESTICLE in the process. Dann needed emergency surgery late on Saturday night and could now be out until the end of January. Boss Steve Kean said: "Scott has come in and played so well to replace Phil Jones but was hurt against West Brom. "It now transpires he will be out for six weeks with a ruptured testicle. Wow.
Fox92 Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Never heard of that, but oh my it must be hurting him.
eye666 Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Scott Dann out for 6 weeks and Steve Kean still refuses to talk about the sack.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Blackburn substituted Scott Dann with Goodwillie after he went of with a ruptured testicle. That's just rubbing salt into the wound.
Jordan Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Oh, good god, poor fellow. Not only did Scott Dann suffer a ruptured testicle--I cringed even just typing that--but from now on, even if he were to score 10 goals in one game, he's going to be known as that footballer that ruptured one of his testicles. Scott Dann out for 6 weeks and Steve Kean still refuses to talk about the sack. Blackburn substituted Scott Dann with Goodwillie after he went of with a ruptured testicle. That's just rubbing salt into the wound. I'm laughing and wincing in pain at the same time.
ozleicester Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Anal Young will be gutted... who is going to play CM for us now? (just as well weve still got Sol Campbell)
stevelcfc Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 "Our physio Dave Fevre is very experienced and he says he's never seen a.... injury like this before."
AyewJoking Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 I dont think he should get his knickers in a twist, as long as he keeps his eye on the ball he should be firing on both cylinders again in no time.
orangecity23 Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 Bad injury for a Gillingham player too ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16338426.stm
Kitchandro Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 "It's absolutely disgusting. He's going to be very sore, and I'm sure his wife won't be too happy either."
Guest Bilo Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 He won't be playing any time soon, he doesn't have the balls for it.
acooling08 Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 What does 'ruptured' actually mean in this instance?
Fox in the North Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 What does 'ruptured' actually mean in this instance? Incomprehensionable pain my friend
