The Doctor Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Kudos on the realism SI - away to forest, 2-0 up at half time, soft sending off followed by an injury time equaliser. Fuming.
AjcW Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Erm.... so its a week before the prem season starts, pre season complete... and the majority of(my very small squad ....) is at 60%, ive not changed anything, not asked them to work harder, and I still have the same fitness team worrying!!
Aleksz Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Brought in Marvin Sordell from Watford, Lallana from Southampton & Then two loans from Chelsea in Daniel Sturridge & Oriol Romeu. Smashing the league like the rest of you on here beating Hull 6-0, Brighton 5-2 & Forest 3-0 all away. Keep getting reasonably lengthy injurys from most of my key players yet I'm still getting through the wins like no mans business. This is fm though, it will all go tits up eventually...

It will all go tits up when you get promoted and get a "early transfer budget" that can be "adjusted once the fixtures are released"... anyway to cut a long story short I spent my 26 million by the start of june and when the adjust fixture list budget was released the new wage budget was 200k a week less than the one I was given shortly after winning the championship.... SCREWED. So i now have a tiny squad, no money and a very sad looking bank account....
AjcW Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Having said all that I am 3 wins out of 4 in the prem having just beaten Man City 1-0 away and only narrowly losing to Liverpool 1-0 on a dodgy pen Edit: Top of the Premier League after 10 games lol
General Smuts Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I rushed my formation and training this year as I just wanted to blaze pre-season anticipating walking the champ (which everyone is doing.) I should be prem by Friday, I will tweek my tactic (I am using 4 2 2 2, yes) and upload both it and my schedules at the weekend. Games just arrived. Can you hook me up lady lumps?

Fair play to you you have obviously bought well, something i will defo have to do should i get up. Contemplating wether to make the switch to finners' training schedules atm.
Finnegan Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Check the previous page for training, Karl. Also, I had no problems with wage or transfer budgets. Spent like 30m and promised mid-table. Aiming for top 8 but not convinced by Marilungo and Borini leading the line although Borini got a brace on his debut taking me to a 3 1 win vs Chelski.
General Smuts Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 As promised, Karl: My training schedules. As with last year they're based on the theory of 8, 14, 20 being the only slider positions you need to use (8 to retain, 14 to improve, 20 to greatly improve - above 20 doing very little more.) I've literally just put these together now and am yet to say the effect but, unless there's been wholesale changes to the maths of training by SI (which I doubt) they should be as effective as last year. Will do tactics at some point over the weekend or on Monday. Top notch. Dunno how I missed this earlier. I knew you knew the secret and I had no clue so ta.
casablancas Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Currently 6th in the prem. Struggling to score but defense is as tight as a sparrows arse. Just beat Man city 3-2 with a eric torres brace. decent young lad. Demba -ba is pants for me, really not getting much from him. Jay Rodreguez is keeping him on the bench. Love alan smith, maniche and hargreaves on free's all three for under 25k a week. Gonna give your training regime a go finners, see if we can produce some quality seeing as no one wants to come to play.
General Smuts Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Wheres the option to ask your AM to get a list of loanees?
Finnegan Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Remember that your regimes are only as good as your coaches and even the best set up won't make a Messi out of Josh Low.
BoneDog Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Is there no megapacks about with everything in them? I can't be arsed downloading each country and putting them in that way. I'd rather just download them all in one go. They normally do a megapack but they put the individual team / country ones up first that people do along the way. I think they add the new megapack when all the work's done so that they don't have to keep updating it. I had to do them all individually last time because the megapack kept on getting corrupted during download.
General Smuts Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I imagine this will be a question asked eventually and the answer is: THIS YEAR YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE EDITOR THROUGH STEAM.
The Doctor Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I imagine this will be a question asked eventually and the answer is: THIS YEAR YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE EDITOR THROUGH STEAM. It auto downloads when you install the game, however when you delete the desktop icon it's very difficult to find again - and by very difficult I mean completely impossible.
Finnegan Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 It didn't auto-download for me. I don't have it on my computer. I'd have to go into the Tools menu on Steam to download it manually if I wanted it.
The Doctor Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Mine downloaded the game, resource archiver and db editor on installation On previous games it was all located program files>Sports Interactive> FM 20XX but that doesn't seem to exist this year.
Narborough_fox Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 King scored from 70 yards for me against West Ham, goal of the month.
Finnegan Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Wonder if it's because I pre-loaded a few days before release, might have just done the game only? No idea. I don't particularly care, either way. I once made a custom league on 09 but that's about as creative as I can ever be bothered to get. Obviously I understand it's vital in making Scotland a world super power, however.
The Doctor Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011  - I want to find it for two reasons: a - I want to make a UK super league, scots div 2 is so dull for playing as cowdenbeath b - It was located near that file you removed to make the German national team available on previous games.
Finnegan Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I've never been able to do that with the German and Japanese national teams. I've followed a couple of guides on what file to delete but it never seems to work. :\
Finnegan Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Yuki Abe, pace and acceleration 9. Richard Stearman, pace and acceleration 16. What. The. Fuck?
The Doctor Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I'd be more worried that that puts Stearman on a par with Dyer - the **** is Stearman as fast as Lloyd.
General Smuts Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 It didn't download for me and I bought the disk. Wanted to check if Gabriel Hauche is as good as he should be and would be worth the 7m I was trying to spend on him. Stupid Work Permits. Ended up with old favourite Pablo Mouche for 3m instead. Doing alreet so far. 2nd in the league after 8 games but currently being ripped apart by someone West Ham bought from Pohang called Mota. Transfer market is more difficult this year I think but then I don't really need many players at City. Ins: Kasper Lorentzen - 775k - Best signing so far. Josh Wicks - 275k - Back up keeper Andile Jali - 350k - Beat off Fulham and Everton for him. Didn't really need him but added to the squad nicely. Leandro Gioda - 190k - Decent CB for cheap Benjamin Psaume - 325k - Needed a right winger and Tord reccomended him. Pablo Mouche - 3m - Favourite from last year Joe Bennett - Loan to cover for Konch who got injured Outs: Wellens, Abe, Weale, Howard, Dyer, Berner, Moussa, Moreno, Kennedy, Oakley for 3m combined.
