He was out at the start of the season due to the U20 World Cup, so I used Vassell on the right who did perform, but seemed to dip as soon as Chamberlain came back. Chamberlain I literally think has got 6.8 or 6.9 in every single game, genuinely can't remember him getting anything but. Ultimately it's not good enough, my wingers and forwards are my only real attacking outlets and if one isn't contributing goals/assists then he may not play much. I only played two games in a two hour session last night, simply ridiculous. The speed is just appalling. However I MAY have found a solution to it. I'm strongly toying with the idea of dropping Gelson for Verratti. Gelson isn't bad but isn't brilliant either. On my Peterborough save on 11 (which I'm trying to emulate) I did actually use a deep lying playmaker on defensive with a box to box, King often does well in that, Verratti may be the ideal partner and may push us on because whilst we've been pretty good, we can do even better.

Despite being an utterly mediocre side with one outstanding forward (Maynard's got 15 and we're in early October, absolute madness). Is the producer a Bristol fan or something? Fvck sake.

I had a team meeting that was essentially free morale! Are you likely to be skinning at all this year or have you put all that beside you now you're working on the game officially?

They all kicked off claiming it's too early to be saying that! I won't be skinning, haven't done for years and certainly won't now I'm at SI. Maybe one day I'll get a chance to be the main FM artist though, rather than working on everything but the FM skin.

I really liked the old ones circa 06 / 07, the green ones. This clean, clinical, "professional" look is just so soulless - especially on a widescreen monitor where everything's barren and empty. One of the first things I always do is look around for a skin.

Vassell has been injured for 6-8 weeks for me, but Beckford and Nugent have been doing well. Beckford is third choice though when Vassell is fit. Played against Barnsley earlier at their place, 3-6 to Leicester. I went 5-0 up, they got it back to 5-3. I won't lie, I was thinking along the lines that it'd be typical Leicester to throw a lead away - even a lead such as 5-0 we got another though and put the game to bed. I've never played a FM before this one, and I've got to say - bloody addictive or what!!

Have been putting it of as I am currently in my best save yet in FM11 as Liverpool manager and now England manager! Thought I would have a crack at winning the world cup with England before moving on to FM12, although after loseing to Northan Ireland and drawing with Lithuanina in qualifying,I dont even think im going to qualify for the pissing world cup! So Fook it, Im off down the shop............
