Fox92 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 I started so poor; lost to Millwall at home 1-3 and didn't win for four games, now I am unbeaten in 11 games and I have shot up to fourth in the league - I even went 5 games without conceding which I have probably never ever done in previous football manager games. Just signed Alex Chamberlain from Arsenal on loan as I needed a fast right winger (I loaned out Gallagher as I am not a fan) and he has been brilliant so far. Played three and made three goals.

I have Argentina, Brazil, Germany, France, Italy, Scotland, England (down to BSN), Holland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Spain and possibly Austria on. Large database. My laptop is the tits.

Gonna start a new game when I get back from footy tonight, What formation has everyone done with city? that was where I came stuck last night as I had not got a clue how to fit all the players where wanted then (like sven), far to many mids

I need a new striker, and I am in January. Who should I go for? Bristol City want 7million for Maynard, and Doncaster want 3.2million for Sharp!! I am not sure of any other targets that can fire me up the league/into the Prem. Most strikers don't want to join/or are at a better club. Edit: I'm a ****ing impatient retard. Left it for 20 minutes and it loaded up fine.

Finnegan Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Whilst we're moaning about things that seem to happen ridiculously too frequently. Penalties. I've not got my tackling set particularly hard, I don't concede a lot of free kicks and fouls around the park, my disciplinary record is reasonable. But seemingly every few games a defender of mine will jump with an opposition in the box and give away a penalty. I can accept "bad luck" if it was a streak in a few games but an entire season? And it's not like I'm just moaning because I'm losing, I'm comfortably top of the league and doing fine - I've had some fantastic results. It just feels a little bit like the AI is compensating for the fact you're doing well by chucking in 'free goals' at times. I've felt this in previous versions when I've just had a disproportionate amount of "free" free kicks just appear infront of my 18 yard box in perfectly scoreable positions. Edit: Kasper's just saved the latest.

They gave me **** all in terms of money so I'm stuck with the same side that won me promotion from League 2, and there's not a lot of quality in there at all. Managed to get Howard and Berner on frees but that killed all finances whatsoever, the wage and transfer budget is full so I'll have to make do. Howards been pretty crap too.

AjcW Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Deffo hit a rough patch 4 draws and a loss. Perhaps was starting to feel a little unbeatable and got complacent! Anyway going to freshen it up a bit with a few new faces and some squad rotation.
