Wanted to check if Gabriel Hauche is as good as he should be and would be worth the 7m I was trying to spend on him. Stupid Work Permits. Ended up with old favourite Pablo Mouche for 3m instead. Doing alreet so far. 2nd in the league after 8 games but currently being ripped apart by someone West Ham bought from Pohang called Mota. Transfer market is more difficult this year I think but then I don't really need many players at City. Ins: Kasper Lorentzen - 775k - Best signing so far. Josh Wicks - 275k - Back up keeper Andile Jali - 350k - Beat off Fulham and Everton for him. Didn't really need him but added to the squad nicely. Leandro Gioda - 190k - Decent CB for cheap Benjamin Psaume - 325k - Needed a right winger and Tord reccomended him. Pablo Mouche - 3m - Favourite from last year Joe Bennett - Loan to cover for Konch who got injured Outs: Wellens, Abe, Weale, Howard, Dyer, Berner, Moussa, Moreno, Kennedy, Oakley for 3m combined. Is that the same Mouche from Boca Juniors thats been bought by Celtic on my game for 75k?

Verratti is worth 2.5m of anyone's budget at the start of the season, he'll come to most Championship clubs I think (playing at Pescara, without much interest from Serie A clubs.) He's a -9 / - 10 and definite Wonderkid potential touted as the next Andrea Pirlo. He's been a fairly well known "Football Manager talent" in the last few games. For some utterly bizarre reason, my print screen button isn't working. It's taking screenshots of this window even when I open Football Manager above it. I've no idea why. When I remedy that I'll show him in 2012, he's progressed very well so far. Not fallen in love with any striker so far, though. I had hoped Borini might do the business but he might be a bit of a flop.

The Doctor Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 The windowed mode is bugging me, i prefer it that way but to see all the training categories (when setting coaches to different specialties) I can only see down to defending and have to set it to full screen to set up attack coaching.

Ozwin Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Windowed mode is rubbish. It cuts off little bits instead of at least giving you a scroll bar. So after matches I can't see why the MOTM is MOTM. I just see his name and picture, be nice to be able to see his goals/assists etc. This happens all over the game though, I'm on 1366 x 768 which I assume is a pretty uncommon resolution but they should still account for everyone.

If so, its the number the player goes down in on the football manager database to determine their potential. -10: World beaters, Messi/Ronaldo of today and will go on to be the best in the world. There is only one of them though this year, he's a welsh midfielder. -9: Think sort Jermaine Defoe/Walcott/Mereiles sort of level, leading players in their division, but not the best players in the world. Chelsea have shit loads this year. Raheem Sterling from Liverpool & Connor Wickham from Sunderland to name a few. -8: Decent premier league standard think David NGog or Yakubu, plenty of these about. -7: Championship level and so on.

Other Jan signings were a regen for £150k with the potential to be as good as Papiss, and Jelle Vossen for £5m from Rangers - yet another great buy for me p14, 8gls, 5assists, 7.50avg). Can't wait for him and PC to play together for an entire season. Papiss ended up playing 32 and scoring 24 in the league at an average of 7.52. Only Finners' Abel Hernández (30), RVP (28) and Aguero (27) got more. Quite worried though because Guardiola has been to scout Yaisien a few times, Atletico Madrid are hovering around Marc Bartra and AC Milan have enquired about Cissé. Vultures. Determined to sign ter Stegen (£4m release-fee, bargain) & Erick Torres along with a winger, a left-back and a new centre-half. Finished 7th in the Prem level on points with Fulham and 3 above Swansea, which was absolutely miraculous, and in no small part down to the fact that I won 5 of my last 8 (including 3-0 v Liverpool, 6-1 v Villa and 4-1 v West Ham). Liverpool pipped me to the 6th and final European place by 1 point, beating 3rd placed Spurs on the final day of the season. Well, that's what I thought. Turns out I got handed a place in the Europa League first qualifying round because of my heroic disciplinary record in the league (40 yellows, 0 reds). Absolutely magic. And to top it off, the board have decided to increase my capacity by 6,000 seats without me even requesting it. Oh yeah. :w00t: Bizarrely, Schlupp is dubbed "the new Michael Owen" and has been capped by England Under 21s. Top effort.

Will the player improve and age etc? of course, add leagues to get the extra players from those leagues, sign the players you want then remove the leagues. The player will improve & age because he's at your club, not at one in the leagues added temporarily.

I'd been messing around for ages trying to put together some total football formation that just wasn't giving him any service at all. Went back to my old-school, FM2007, 4 1 1 3 1 with heavy focus on through-balls and that's much more like it.

It's hard to account for every resolution, especially in Windowed mode as you have the taskbar to take into consideration as well.
