cosmos Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 That's the only explanation as to why king keeps getting in the game. I'm usually first to slate Wellens but today even he wasn't as bad as King. If i can't see it why the hell can't Pearson!
dave the caveman Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 I think you've answered your own question really. They're clearly indulging in homosexual intercourse.
J.Lisemore Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Is he really as good as some think? I'm not saying hes become a rubbish footballer overnight but was he all that good in the first place? hes got a knack of being in the right place at the right time on occasions, but I feel he needs to develop his game more, its no good popping up with a goal every now again if your not willing to do the dirty work as a central midfielder. Is it just a lack of confidence or have team's sussed him out? Thoughts?
Guest ttfn Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 That is quite literally the only explanation.
Jace Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Great theory you clearly know alot about bumming
kingfox Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Hope he is using a condom for safety purposes.
cc_star Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 King the new Wellens I've slated King for his performance today, but until players are replaced there is no choice, so what good comes of personal attacks?
EnderbyFox Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Didn't you already know? After each training session Pearson takes Wellens, King, Gallagher and Alan young round the back and gives them a good seeing too.
kingfox Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 My twitter is playing up big time this afternoon. Fookin Wellens King
Salieri Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Thread title been changed? Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. :xmasdry:
I am Rod Hull Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Here`s another King you might dislike...
stockyfox Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 It was exacfly 40 minutes before Andy King was referred to during the Sky broadcast, i'd forgotten he was in the team!
Kitchandro Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 He was dropped last week. Whoever Pearson picks in midfield people will moan because no one can justify picking any of them. Maybe he's been with all of them.
lcfcsnow Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 He's had no impact on games since March and is finished as a footballer at this level.
Callabinho Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 It is clear King doesn't know his role at the moment, we've seen king at his best and he is not a poor player, I don't think any one player would change our fortunes at the moment. Pearson is struggling to pull the lads together, and it could take wholesale changes to correct it....
Stuliasz Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 I vaguely remember a version of Andy King that wanted the ball, drove forward with it and scored crackers at the end of runs from the half way line. The Andy King that is there now is one that very rarely runs in to space, hides whenever he has the opportunity to run into space by making no effort to move away from markers, and gets rid of the ball to someone else as soon as possible because he doesn't want to take responsibility himself. Not wanting to get involved so he can't be seen to be making the mistakes that others make. Whether this is a lack of confidence, poor development coaching over the past few years or if he is just simply not as good as everyone thought he was is really for him and NP to figure out. I personally don't believe it's the latter or he wouldn't have ever had the quality to score the goals that he has, he just needs to be taught how to actively contribute as a central midfielder because even Wellens is showing him up at the moment!!

This is the problem, nobody is good enough, there are no choices King is anon & shouldn't be in the team Wellens critics have had a point in past few games (not today for me though) & shouldn't be in the team Gally & Dyer shouldn't be in the team Danns, loads of energy but generally useless shouldn't be in the team Fat Johnson shouldn't be in the team Oakley everyone moans about & as a result shouldn't be in the team Fact is, no one should be in the team but the manager has to pick someone, whoever he does pick will result in people slagging him off because everyone is not good enough Roll on Jan!
ramadaone Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 I watched King quite closely and he made run after run forward but wasn't found very often due to our piss poor passing - his runs did lack that bit of conviction and this was best illustrated when the goalie pushed it straight out to him but a defender got half a block in when last season King would have been on the move a bit quicker and would probably have scored For what ever reason he has lost that bit of zip and with the role he plays without that he will not affect the game like he did I've just accepted that the season is a right off no matter what happens in the transfer window

Appalling today, did nothing except for one flowing move in the 88thmin King came from deep midfield with the ball, sprayed it out wide to Beckford (a forward wanting the ball helps as usually they're happy to stand marked) Beckford ran into the box had a great shot that was saved & King was in the box for the rebound, he couldn't really do anything other than try & keep it on target & the keeper saved it King started & almost finished the move... but it also showed how someone being available for a pass is critical to this. He needs to emulate this more often & if he does he'll be back amongst the goals again, sadly as we need success yesterday our 1st team isn't the place to try & find your form.
Thracian Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 I watched King quite closely and he made run after run forward but wasn't found very often due to our piss poor passing - his runs did lack that bit of conviction and this was best illustrated when the goalie pushed it straight out to him but a defender got half a block in when last season King would have been on the move a bit quicker and would probably have scored For what ever reason he has lost that bit of zip and with the role he plays without that he will not affect the game like he did I've just accepted that the season is a right off no matter what happens in the transfer window That's a fair summary. King's runs started as early as the early stages when King came off his marker to take a pass from mills and was completely ignored as the centre-back pumped a ball forward to nowhere - the second time he'd lost the ball in two attempts and within the same minute. Times it happened and i was screaming inside for us to pass the ball on the floor because we were winning so little in the air apart from the goal. But too often it was like head tennis and King was utterly wasted until midway through the second half when he almost stole us a winner with a header, a shot that was desperately blocked at source and when he and Schlupp went for the same ball close to goal. King wasn't the only one to be frustrated. Twice Konchesky was left shaking his head because of a otal lack of support - first for a throw in and then for a situation where he saved a throw agains us in defence but had no-one making themselves available for a pass afterwards. We were utterly appalling in defence at times today, not just because of the mess we created in clearing the ball at times (Konch being as bad as others in this department for all his energy), but our marking in the box, irritating errors, poor distribution and unconvincing level of support. Even Kasper and Konch were shaky at times and Abe was no answer to our defensive cover problem for all his industry. Today's teams were well matched yet we threatened far more than we did against Ipswich because our system seemed to suit the players we chose. But for all that we never flowed as a team. That said we had two cast-iron penalty claims ignored, one for a blatant handball and the other for a foul on Beckford. Yes three points would have flattered us because we showed nothing special out there today but the penalty claims seemed clear enough to me.
