THEFATBASTARD Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Thank god, nigel has found his bollocks at last..
lcfcadam Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Schmeichel Moore - Mills - Tunchev - Bamba - KennedyDanns - King - AbeNugent - Schlupp?or possibly:SchmeichelMoore - Mills - Tunchev - KennedyBambaDanns - King - AbeNugent - SchluppInteresting to say the least, anyone ever seen City play with 5 at the back (and potentially with proper wingbacks) before?
Teapot. Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I almost creamed my pants when I saw this. No Wellens in the team made my Monday, we can lose 10-0 now & I won't care as long as we haven't got overrated willies like Wellens in the squad.
dog_4 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 not really stunned! 2 games in 3 days! was time for change anyway! crap all season so happy days! oh and to all the people who said nigel doesnt give young players a chance! king, schlupp and moore! Thanks and a two fingered salute to all those who doubt nigel!
davieG Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Hooray Nigel has finally made some changes, Wellens the c**t isn't starting It's his day off
MikeyT Posted 2 January 2012 Author Posted 2 January 2012 Wondering if it's partly because people have been ever present and giving them a rest?
The Doctor Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 5-3-2/3-5-2 with Moore and Kennedy the wing backs then. Interesting. Subs: Gallagher, Howard, Dyer, Beckford, Weale No Wellens on the bench either - thank god! I think Danns will be fired up to prove a point against his ex-club, plus him and Tunch have a reasonable idea of what to expect from them. The two CB's alongside Bamba will help a lot with his erratic play, as for Kennedy and Moore - I think that definitely spells the end for Paintsil but Konchesky and Peltier haven't been great of late (although who has) - good decision.
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Pelts is not in the XI Just seen you changed it lol
sdb Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 That is the most bizarre selection I've ever seen from an LCFC manager I think. Hope there's nothing negative behind Peltier and Konchesky not playing.
Corky Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Wondering if it's partly because people have been ever present and giving them a rest? It will have something to do with it, but to give Kennedy and Moore a go is refreshing.
EnderbyFox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 We are going to have absolutely no width at all
lcfcsnow Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Credit where credits due, at least he's tried to change it today. Bit concerned about Moore though as he wasn't starting for Bradford towards the end of his loan.
davieG Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Schmeichel Moore - Mills - Tunchev - Bamba - KennedyDanns - King - AbeNugent - Schlupp?or possibly:SchmeichelMoore - Mills - Tunchev - KennedyBambaDanns - King - AbeNugent - SchluppInteresting to say the least, anyone ever seen City play with 5 at the back (and potentially with proper wingbacks) before? let's hope they're up to it, have Moore and Kennedy had much game time because you need to be fit to play the wing back role
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Interesting to say the least, anyone ever seen City play with 5 at the back (and potentially with proper wingbacks) before? seriously? MoN!
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 If people moan about this line up after weeks of calling him to change it then our fans really are a joke! Is mills playing right back then? Didn't even know kennedy was still with us
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 We are going to have absolutely no width at all We haven't had, but with Moore & Kennedy we certainly will
Webbo Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Could be a case of assessing the squad ahead of dipping his toes in the transfer market. I literally didn't have a clue who Moore was.
Grewks Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Konchesky was limping quite a lot the other day so maybe it is an injury problem. The lads such as moore, schlupp and kennedy have nothing to lose and will play for thier shirts, wont be surprised if this spurs the team on as a whole. At least one of moore, schlupp and kennedy will either score or set up a goal, how many times do you see youngsters playing blinders? a lot. I like this side very much, wait til big sol begins running towards them.
