stillwater Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 No defenders on the bench hope we don,t get any knocks in that area
Corky Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Moore was really highly rated at the start of his Bradford career, the manager kept singing his praises, not sure why he lost his place. Everyone is really excited.....im shitting it.. To be honest I don't expect us to get anything, but it's good to see that we are a different team and it might produce a better display than the last four.
reynard Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 No defenders on the bench hope we don,t get any knocks in that area Considering we have 5 on the pitch and Abe who can fill in at right back we should be ok.
Guesty Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I'm thinking when we had that break on last game and Wellens shot from 40 odd yards instead of passing he's seriously pissed Pearson off. Cuz he got subbed straight after that when he was arguably having a better game than King.
Guest shearfox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 No defenders on the bench hope we don,t get any knocks in that area If we did we would just go 4 at the back I suppose.
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Hope all the back room staff including Pearson are away scouting for new players, this is a miss-mash team today. Not really Pelts' form hasn't been great past couple of games (previously to that, he was player of the season IMO), Konch's has made appalling decisions at the back & has never offered anything to attacks other than hoof, the CB pairing has been dreadful whoever has played. Big changes were needed at the back and we've got them, can see us signing some players there too I'm unsure about Wellens not playing because Danns can't pass & isn't combatitive in defence either, hopefully he makes up for it with mobility Glad Schlupp will get a chance centrally, he started well against P'mouth centrally but faded when pushed out as the right wide forward For the 1st time this season we have width and a potential outlet for Wellens passing, but he's not there to take advantage of it.
Lambert09 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I can't stop laughing when I think about Beckfords face when he heard the line-up today
shade Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 also I suspect nige read the palace pre match thread and saw my post on page 3, half way down at 7.40 pm. he's clearly ripped off my team and formation?

WUM.
chili_con_carne Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I might give 5 live a listen for this game but then again radio Leicester might give us more info on how Moore, Kennedy and the new formation play. Young annoys me though.
Lillehamring Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 my initial thought was 532, but now i'm pretty certain we'll play with a flat back four and bamba just in front; the way yuki played at the weekend i think he can do a job as the pivot in a central three with king and danns moving off him...
beryllind Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 To be honest I don't expect us to get anything, but it's good to see that we are a different team and it might produce a better display than the last four. I agree with you, but don't the points matter.
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Kennedy is an odd one but I suppose Pearson must have faith in him he did sign him afterall. How did he get on when sent on loan? @TalkSportDrive on Twitter is a Posh fan & has often Tweeted great things about him Think he's more mobile than Konch, so may add to our attacks more

Guest Col city fan Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Blimey! Most of our 'fans' must be over the moon! Count Wellens is finally dropped. Let's hope those that have 'wanted him to die' enjoy a good victory today. It's a strange selection from Nige. Either brave OR disastrous. We will see What this does show is that Nigel is boss and is not scared to drop anyone to discover what he thinks is his best team. Can the conspiracies now cease... Please?
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 WUM. You didn't see the Pompey game then? Shocker, took him 60mins to get into it
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Moore sounds like he should be given a chance and so does kennedy i hope that bamba plays as a CDM role and it's just tunchev and mills at centre back as i think this could really work lets be honest we've got nothing to lose, pearson has got no other choice
Lambert09 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 @TalkSportDrive on Twitter is a Posh fan & has often Tweeted great things about him Think he's more mobile than Konch, so may add to our attacks more I watched the peterborough vs southampton game and he looked pretty good...destroyed the post with a long range effort
AmyLGK Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I feel that Nige has lost the dressing room and is now panicking - PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG NIGE!
Corky Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I agree with you, but don't the points matter. Of course they do, but we've played pretty much the same team and formation for four very winnable games and picked up three draws and a defeat. This is the toughest game since Hull on paper and I don't think the usual team would get anything. Bit of freshness in the side might produce a better display and maybe a better result.
Saxondale Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 This line up reminds me of when i panic on footy manager. Exactly what I was thinking!
ithuriel Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 This has got disaster written all over it. Peeps have been whining for him to drop player's and change thing's so they can't whine now. Actually even if we lose this it send's a message to the entire squad that no one is too good to be dropped and that they had best start fighting for their future's here.
Soar Fox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 let's hope they're up to it, have Moore and Kennedy had much game time because you need to be fit to play the wing back role Kennedy played the full 90 for Peterborough against Boro. Not too sure about Moore though.
buzzy Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Wellens has been shit for a f**king long time and finally NP has seen sense and dropped him. the anti wellens must be so happy its just a shame he has not done the same with king because his been shit this season but he must be licking pearson arse still
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 It's amazing how much konch is rated on here, he is very poor defensively IMO. He also reminds me of Danny tiatto a bit, bit of a headless chicken. Would much rather have Cunningham back who looked a lot more solid. I think he's been good defensively, but is absolutely dreadful in attack, if he gets the ball we may as well assume defensive positions because he will hoof it & lose possession anyway, or lacks the pace to beat my Gran He had a nightmare defensively against Pompey though glad to see he's been replaced
